Day notes
The safari starts in Kasane where you will be able to catch your breath after your long flights to get here and then depending on your flight times and energy levels we can decide on what would work best either a nice cruise along the Chobe River Front or game drive into the Chobe National Park.
the lodge itself is set in beautiful grounds that have a view of the River and they have done well in maintaining the natural vegetation so, there are lots of resident birds and animals like Bushbuck and Warthogs around the camp. A great place to get into the safari way of life.

Day notes
We start our mobile safari with a drive through Chobe National Park from Kasane in our open safari vehicle through to Savute, we will travel with a packed lunch so we have no time pressure and can enjoy the various sightings and scenes along the way.
The team will travel ahead and have already set up camp so all will be set when we arrive. During our time here we will explore the various waterpoints, woodlands and grasslands that have made this such a famous safari area in Botswana. The lion sightings here are legend so spending time with these big cats as they go in search of the buffalo herds will be a real highlight here.
The camp itself is the pictures you see in the Khwai Mobile Tented - this page is added purely to show a route and locality. But we will be set up in a private operators site with exclusive access.

Today we leave camp with a packed lunch so we have no time pressure to reach Khwai plus our camp team will then dismantle camp and get ahead of us to Khwai so everything is ready on arrival.
During our time here in Khwai we will explore the many lagoons and channels that are formed by the Khwai River which flows from the Okavango. It is a top safari area well known for its excellent leopard and wild dog sightings along with a full menu of classic Okavango species like Lechwe, Hippos, Elephants, Buffalo, Lions, Waterbuck, Kudu, Impala and lots more all within a relatively small area so there is always something going on here.

Much the same plan as before with the team dismantling camp and getting off to our next campsite inside Moremi National Park and the actual Okavango Delta.
While we are here we will be able to explore the many different habitats that make up this incredibly diverse and important wilderness area. With this diversity of habitat comes the diversity of species, so every day there will always be something new to see and enjoy making it easy to see why this is one of the most sort after safari destinations in Africa.
