Day 1: Johannesburg

You will be met by your guide or transfer driver at the airport and then transferred to your JHB accommodation. In the evening there will be a group meeting for an introduction to South Africa and the safari. After the meeting, the group will go for dinner. We spend the night in comfort at our accommodation and prepare for the next day’s adventure.

Day 6: Franschhoek

Get the perfect introduction to South Africa’s vibrant wine culture on this door-to-door tour that includes stops in four top vineyards across the Paarl, Franschhoek, and Stellenbosch wine regions. Sample still wines, bubbles, Cape-style ports, and cheese, and savor an à la carte lunch.

We spent a full day in and around the wine farms.

Day 7: Cape Town

Experience the scenic beauty and natural landscapes of South Africa’s Cape Peninsula on this full-day tour from Cape Town. Enjoy the convenience of guided visits, as well as the independence of solo sightseeing and learn about this dynamic region from your friendly, knowledgeable guide. See seals in Hout Bay (with optional Duiker Island boat trip) and have time to wander the shops. You can explore the Cape Point Nature Reserve at your leisure, and check out playful families of African penguins in Simon’s Town. Your return trip to Cape Town even includes a stop at the colorful Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

 

Day 8: Cape Town

After breakfast, we head for Table Mountain.
