Afternoon is at leisure or depending on time of arrival enjoy an included Ancient San Skills Academy Tour. 

In the morning you will be met by your Guide/Driver whom will accompany you throughout the rest of your Trip in Namibia.

Depending on when you took part in the Ancient San Skills Academy Tour will depend on when you depart from the Lodge.

Depart to your next destination; Okonjima Lodge with your Guide. 

Enjoy an afternoon Game Drive at Okonjima Lodge.

In the morning enjoy a Leopard Activity offered by Okonjima Lodge.  After your activity depart to your next destination, Damara Mopane Lodge.

The Okonjima Nature Reserve sprawls over 200 square kilometres of undulating plains, mountainous outcrops, and riverine thickets, and it is here that leopard (Panthera pardus), the most adaptable of all the wild cats, thrive. Read more about our Leopard Research.

These intelligent, solitary predators occur in high density in the expanse of Okonjima Nature Reserve’s multi-faceted topography. The Reserve’s predator research programme has spanned three decades, and its findings have provided great insight to leopard behavioral patterns as well as offered an upbeat prognosis for a sustainable future for the species in today’s Africa.

A two-day Okonjima stay offers the best chance to view wild leopard in Namibia, as well as those collared for research purposes, in their natural habitats. Research programme leopard are actively tracked, and their collars are an invaluable resource for locating, and then returning to the Reserve, cats which have migrated to surrounding farmland where they are perceived as threats to livestock.

Today your journey takes you to the coast of Namibia, Swakopmund. 

Enroute enjoy Traditional Life in the Village Tour

Experience the daily routine in our traditional museum, including our traditional blacksmith (making of weapons and tools), tanning of leather (production of traditional clothes), jewellery and crafts, dancing, singing and traditional games, Holy Fire and fire making and much more.

Arrive late afternoon in Swakopmund

Enjoy a morning Marine Cruise

The rest of the day is at leisure. 

Today your journey takes you to Sossusvlei.  Enroute visit the Welwitschia and Moonlandscape with your Guide. 

The ever-popular Welwitschia / Moon Landscape drive takes us inland to the “Moon Landscape” and the Swakop River Canyon with its amazing rock formations; the Oasis Goanikontes, flora such as the Welwitchia Mirabilis plant, Tsamma, ‘Living Stones’; sightings of wildlife, lichen fields, and much more.

Arrive at the Lodge in the late afternoon.  The rest of the afternoon is at leisure. 

In the morning you will have the opportunity to visit the Sossusvlei & Sesriem Canyon with your Guide.

In the middle of the Namib Desert, in the Namib Naukluft Park two of Namibia’s scenic highlights can be found: the Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei

Firstly about the Namib Naukluft Park: This conservation area within the oldest desert worldwide, the Namib, is situated along the Atlantic coast, covers an area of nearly 50,000 km² and is the largest protected area in the country. The park was formed by merging several regions (Namib, Naukluft, Sossusvlei/Sesriem, and Sandwich Harbour). The present size of the park has been proclaimed in 1979. Only a small part of the park is accessible for visitors: the Naukluft Mountains, the Sossusvlei as well as some parts of the Kuiseb River. The huge protected area is about 500 km long and between 100 and 150 km wide.

Today your journey has come to an end.  Depart back to Windhoek for your evening flight out.
