Day 1: Cape Town

Upon arrival into Cape Town International Airport, you'll be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Cape Town

Note: Table Mountain cable car closed for annual maintenance 07 - 26 July 2020.  During this period an overview of the city from Signal Hill will be offered in it's place.

Today you'll be met at your hotel and taken on a private basis tour of the city of Cape Town, with a trip to the top of Table Mountain (weather permitting). At the conclusion of the tour, you'll be returned to your hotel.

(Suggested times:  daily hotel pickup at 8:30AM or 1:15PM)

You’ll be met at your hotel and transferred to the cableway station for the ascent of Table Mountain by aerial cable car (cost included but it is weather permitting). From here the tour takes you back to the City for a sightseeing tour which includes places of interests such as the Castle of Good Hope, the South Africa Museum, the Company Gardens and the Malay Quarter. 

The tour then calls into the V&A Waterfront where you have the option of staying to explore this vibrant area and making your own way back to your hotel, however, if you don’t wish to stay here, your guide will drop you off at your Hotel/Guest House.

Day 3: Cape Town

This morning you'll be met at your hotel and taken on a full-day private basis tour of the Cape Peninsula. At the conclusion of the tour, you'll be returned to your hotel. Pickup time at your hotel, 8:00AM. This tour can run in the opposite direction at the guide’s discretion with your best interests in mind.

After breakfast join your guide who will show you the beautiful Cape Point and Cape Peninsula. Travel along the Atlantic coastline via the scenic drives of Oudekraal to Hout Bay where an optional boat cruise to seal island is possible (subject to weather conditions and at additional cost to be paid locally). Cross over the mountain by way of the spectacular Chapmans Peak drive (subject to the road being open as it does close for periodic maintenance in which case we will use Constantia Nek). You’ll travel to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve where you have the option of using the funicular up to the main viewing site, or you can walk. After leaving the reserve, you’ll continue along the False Bay coastline to visit the penguin colony at Boulders Beach. A lunch stop is made in the village of Simons Town (at own cost to be settled locally). The final stop of the day is at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens before being returned to your hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 4: Cape Town

This morning you'll be met at your hotel and taken on a full day private basis tour of the Cape Winelands. At the conclusion of the tour, you'll be returned to your hotel. Pickup time at your hotel, 8:30AM. 

Today you’ll depart with your guide and explore the famous wine lands of Western Cape. You’ll travel to the scenic beauty of the Paarl wine region. Continue along the Berg River valley to the picturesque town of Franschhoek, with the opportunity to walk through the quaint village. In the afternoon, we will call in at the historic university town of Stellenbosch and see the surrounding wine areas. During the day there will be ample opportunity to taste some of the magnificent wines produced in this region and a suitable stop will be made for you to enjoy a relaxing lunch at a local restaurant (at own expense to be settled locally). In the late afternoon, you’ll be returned to your hotel.

Days 5 - 6: Oudtshoorn, Knysna, Plettenberg Bay

Today you'll be met at your Cape Town Hotel and begin the Garden Route  portion of your tour. Highlights include ostrich farms, Cango Caves, Knysna Lagoon and Plettenberg Bay.

Day 7: Port Elizabeth

The Garden Route portion of your tour ends this afternoon when you arrive in Port Elizabeth.  Overnight before continuing to Durban the next day.
 

Day 8: Durban

This morning you'll be transferred to Port Elizabeth Airport in time for a scheduled flight to Durban.  Upon arrival you'll be met and taken on a private half-day city tour,  including the iconic Golden Mile, before checking in at your hotel. 

Day 9: KwaZulu Natal Game Reserves

This morning you'll depart with your guide, driving along the coast to Zululand, with visits to Lake St. Lucia and Hluhluwe / Umfolozi Game Reserve, where an evening game drive takes place.

Day 10: South Africa

Today drive through the mountainous kingdom of Swaziland visiting local craft markets and other points of interest.

Day 11: Southern Kruger

Depart Swaziland and enter the famous Kruger National Park in time to enjoy an afternoon game drive.

Day 12: Panorama Route

Today you'll enjoy a full day of game viewing before continuing on to Hazyview, where you'll spend the last night.

Day 13: End of Itinerary, Panorama Route

This morning  you'll embark on a tour of the Panorama Route, including spectacular scenery, waterfalls, mountains and canyons. Late afternoon arrival in Johannesburg.
