Day 1: Windhoek

  • Transfer from Windhoek International Airport to Windhoek 
  • Meet & greet with Safari B representative 
  • Vehicle handover to be done on this day

*In the event of a late evening arrival, the scheduled meet & greet as well as the vehicle handover will be moved to the next morning*

Days 2 - 3: NamibRand Nature Reserve

  • Early morning start as you make your way to the Namib Rand Nature Reserve
  • The next two days are set aside for hiking

Included

  • Meals (2 x breakfast, 1 x lunch, 2 x dinner) and equipment as stated in the itinerary

* Beer, wine, soft drinks, tea, coffee and juice are limited available in overnight camps

* Services of a guide, a “back-up” crew and luggage transport for the duration of the trail

* Walking in a small and personal group of 2-8 guests.

Days 4 - 5: Sossusvlei

  • A short hike back to base camp this morning where you can freshen up before departing to Sossusvlei 
  • Visit the Sossusvlei sights 
  • Enjoy optional extra lodge activities

Days 6 - 7: Swakopmund

  • Early morning start as you make your way to the Skeleton Coast 
  • Travel from Sossusvlei to Swakopmund, either via the Moonlandscape or Walvis Bay 
  • Enjoy optional extra activities offered in this lovely coastal town

Day 8: Twyfelfontein

  • Today you head to the Twyfelfontein area in Damaraland 
  • Enjoy a visit to the Twyfelfontein sights including a visit to the Damara Living Museum 
  • Optional extra activities are available with the lodge

Day 9: Palmwag

  • Spend the morning at leisure enjoying the incredible area, either visiting the Twyfelfontein highlights or on a nature drive
  • Travel to Palmwag Lodge where a guide will collect you from the pick-up point with his safari vehicle and take you to the camp 
  • Meet at Palmwag Lodge on the Uinab River at the normal pickup time and point for Etendeka Mountain Camp. Hand your luggage over to the driver who will safely deliver your luggage to the River Camp.  Start your walk from Palmwag Lodge into the Etendeka Concession for approximately 2 to 3 hours to your 1st overnight camp.  The scenery is incredible as you access the concession on foot and look out onto the pristine rocky plains set against the Namibian sky. Your experienced guide will give you a sense of what awaits as he identifies desert plants and trees. Keen birders and photographers should have their binoculars and cameras on hand.

Day 10: Palmwag

  • After your first night under the stars wake up early to the sounds and smells of the wilderness. Enjoy a full cooked breakfast, pack your travel snacks and water bottles into the backpacks provided and start your walk to Hill Camp. The route is spectacular and your guide will be able to identify animal spoor and share information about the history of the area. Stop en route for refreshments and aim to reach Hill Camp by early-afternoon for a late lunch and siesta. The distance of this walk is between 15km and 20km and should take about 6 to 7 hours, including stops, depending on the groups fitness level.
  • Hill Camp is situated on the top of Crystal Mountain with spectacular views and an abundance of crystals and exquisite rock formations. In the afternoon you will be able to do a short sundowner walk around the plateau. Guests will enjoy a simple but delicious and wholesome dinner around the fire. Settle in on your sleeping platform perched on the edge of the mountain and enjoy the night under the stars.

Day 11: Etosha South

  • Enjoy a short morning walk or transfer down to Etendeka Mountain Camp and get the scenic nature drive back to Palmwag Lodge or opt to stay an additional night at Etendeka Mountain Camp.
  • Travel to Etosha National Park 
  • Enjoy self-drive game drives inside the park or optional extra lodge activities

Days 12 - 13: Etosha East

  • Wake up for an early breakfast and optional extra activity, if any planned 
  • This morning you travel from one side of the park to the other 
  • Enjoy self-drive game drives inside the park or optional extra lodge activities

Day 14: Okonjima Nature Reserve

  • Today you depart Etosha National Park and make your way to Central Namibia 
  • Spend the evening at the AfriCat Foundation at Okonjima Plains Camp

Day 15: End of Itinerary

  • Today marks your last day, after your breakfast make your way back to Windhoek 
  • Drop off your rental vehicle and transfer to the airport
