3 Day Kapama Karula Lodge Safari

Traveling on a safari is an experience of a life time and our 3 Day Kapama Karula exclusive lodge is certainly a safari that you will never forget.

Our transfers to the Kapama Karula Lodge depart daily from the OR Tambo Airport Bus Terminal by 06:30am.

Arriving at the wonderful all inclusive Kapama Karula Lodge in time for lunch, a beverage and to freshen up in your en-suite room before meeting your local guide and tracker.

Your local guide and tracker will guide you on an Open 4x4 vehicle, specially designed for optimal game viewing. With your guide being in contact with the other vehicles traversing through the Kapama Game reserve, you will have the opportunity to view the numerous animals that inhabit the reserve. Sightings of Giraffe, Hippo, Zebra and of course the members of the Big 5 are a daily occurrence in the reserve.

During your drive your guide will find an ideal location for you to disembark from the safari vehicle and enjoy a sun downer drink as the African sun sets behind the Drakensberg Mountains.

Dinner and drinks are severed at the Lodge, before retiring your lodge for the night.

Your third day on safari is enjoyed by experiencing guided morning and afternoon safari drives, relaxing by your private plunge pool or reading a book in your suites lounge.

The Kapama Private Game reserve also offers optional activities such as a Day Spa and guided tours of the Hoedspruit Endangered Species center. You more than welcome to inform the Lodge managed if you would like to join in on one of these experiences during your stay. Please note that all optional activities are for own account.

All meals and beverages are included in the package to the Karula Lodge, meaning that you will not go hungry or thirsty during your safari experience.

Awaken to the sounds of the Birds chirping in the nearby trees, as dawn breaks through the African Wilderness, Tea and coffee is served at the Lodge dining area before departing on your final Open vehicle safari drive, hoping to locate any animals that have eluded you thus far on your safari package to the Kapama Game reserve.

After Breakfast at the Lodge, you will have time to check out of your room before being collected from the Lodge for your return road transfer to Johannesburg.

The transfer back to Johannesburg is a group transfer, however with plenty space for you to catch up on sleep or read a book as your driver transports you safely back to Johannesburg.

Arriving back in Johannesburg at the OR Tambo Airport Bus terminal between 17:30 – 18:00. If you are planning on traveling further, we do suggest reserving a domestic flight that departs no earlier than 19:30 and an International Flight that departs no earlier than 21:00
