The closest airport to Shamwari is in Port Elizabeth. From there, you can self drive to the reserve, or we can arrange transfers for you. Once you have checked in at Bayethe Camp, you will go on your first shared afternoon game drive.

There are spa treatments, visits to the Ian Player Rhino Awareness Center, the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, and two Born Free Big Cat Sanctuaries available at an additional cost.
Shared morning and afternoon safari activities
After your last morning game drive and breakfast, it is time to leave Shamwari Game Reserve. We will be happy to help with any add-on travel arrangements, including the Garden Route, Cape Town and Victoria Falls.
