Day 1: Galapagos Islands

Upon your arrival to the airport in Baltra Island, you will be transferred to the Darwin Yacht. After settling in the yacht, your first visit will be to the Twin Craters, geological formations that were created as a result of the collapse or sinking of surface materials into cracks or manholes. You will also have the opportunity to observe land birds especially the woodpecker finch and the vermillion flycatcher. After this activity head back to the yacht for dinner.

Day 2: Galapagos Islands

First visit of the day will be to Port Egas, a black sand beach located on the west side of James Bay and northwest of Santiago Island. This place was formed by deposits of volcanic tuff, and there is also a saltwater lagoon. After this visit, head to Espumilla Beach on the northern coast of Santiago Island in James Bay, a nesting site for marine turtles, where a palo Santo Forest can be seen while you rest on the beach and enjoy the landscape.

Day 3: Darwin Yacht

We begin with a hike to enjoy the most amazing panoramic view at the Galapagos Islands. After, relax on the beach or take the opportunity to snorkel at the reef to see various fish, friendly sea lions, and sea turtles. In the afternoon, we visit Sullivan Bay on Santiago Island, to see fascinating giant lava formations, due to the recent formation of the island, and where you can also swim and snorkel to see seals and penguins. Return to the yacht and dinner.

Day 4: Galapagos Islands

Early in the morning we visit North Seymour to see the various species of birdlife that inhabit the island, such as blue footed boobies and frigate birds. In the afternoon, you will go to Las Bachas Beach, located in northern part of Santa Cruz Island, it consists of two beaches that have a combined length of about 1 km long. This place represents one of the main nesting sites of sea turtles on Isla Santa Cruz. It is a good place to see flamingos, as well as migratory and aquatic birds. End of the day and dinner onboard.

Day 5: Galapagos Islands

Early in the morning, the yacht will take you to Pitt Point, located at the east end of San Cristobal Island. In this place you will go through a trail where you will watch three species of boobies and two species of frigates nesting in the same area. You will also spot sea lions along the olivine beach. You can snorkel at this place too. During the afternoon head to Kicker Rock, also called León Dormido in Spanish due to the form of this rock formation. This place is a refuge for sea birds like blue footed boobies and sea lions, and it’s an ideal place to practice snorkel to watch the amazing sea life that inhabits here.

Day 6: Darwin Yacht

The first activity of the day will be a visit to Witch Hill, in this place there is beautiful white coral beach where you can swim and snorkel. You can also watch various species like blue-footed boobies, Nazca boobies, herons, frigate birds and shore birds. You can also practice snorkel at this place. After this activity, head to Lobos Islet, where a major population of sea lions resides, hence the name of this place. You will also see different species of birds like blue footed boobies, frigates and pelicans. End of the day and dinner onboard.

Day 7: End of Itinerary

Early in the morning, the yacht will land at Santa Cruz Island, and the last visit of the tour will be to Charles Darwin Research Station where you will learn about the protection and conservation of the island, and visit the Breeding and Rearing Centre for young tortoises and adult Galapagos tortoises in captivity. After this activity, you will be transferred to Baltra Airport and take your flight back to the continent.
