After arrival at the airport you will be met by my friendly driver who will transfer you the short distance to Ciela Resort and Spa, a wonderful place to relax after a long flight.
They even have their own on-site brewery! And a lovely pool and spa, of course...
Today you will be collected by your driver after breakfast and transferred to lusaka airport, where you will meet your pilot. You will depart for Jeki airstrip in the Lower Zambezi National Park - a spectacular trip in a small plane. You will be met upon arrival and transferred to Kutali Camp - on a fully inclusive basis- accommodation, all meals, local drinks, park fees, activities and laundry,
Stay Kutali Camp including al meals, local drinks, park fees and conservation levies and 2 game activities per day - game drives, walks, canoeing, fishing, cruising.
Four nights here will not seem like enough!
Today you will fly to Mfuwe Airport in South Luangwa. You will be transferred to Jeki airstrip for your light aircraft transfer to Lusaka, where you will be guided on to your next journey which is the scheduled flight to Mfuwe.
You will be met upon arrival and transferred by road to Tafika - about a 2 hour drive. An owner run camp built on the banks of the Luangwa River.-Your stay is fully inclusive - accommodation, all meals, laundry, local drinks, park fees, 2 scheduled game activities per day - game drives & walking safaris
Tafika is a magical destination!
After breakfast you will walk to Chikoko Tree Camp, stopping for coffee en route.
Walking safaris are what the South Luangwa is famous for - and rightly so. It's a chance to really get close to nature and you will learn all about animals, plants and local medicine. The walking is at an easy pace and the focus is not on distance but interaction.
All your luggage will be portered in and you will walk to your camp unencumbered by baggage. Chikoko Tree camp will be your home for the next 2 nights. - fully inclusive - accommodation, all meals, local drinks, park fees, and walking safari.
Today you will walk to Big Lagoon Camp. A fabulous camp to just relax or partake in walking safaris. Here you will stay for two nights - fully inclusive - accommodation, all meals, local drinks, park fees and walking safari.
A fitting end to a spectacular safari!
After an early morning light breakfast you will walk out of camp to cross the river and will then be transferred to Tafika camp. From there you be transferred by road to Mfuwe airport.
You will catch a scheduled flight to Lusaka and be met upon arrival and transferred to Ciela Camp for the night,
Make the most of your last night in Africa and reminisce about the amazing experiences of the last two weeks over dinner!
