Day notes
You have three full days around this excellent safari area of Tafika along the banks of the Luangwa River in what is known as the Nsefu sector of the park. You will be able to do a range of activities that include night drives , morning and evening game drives and depending on the water level it may be possible to do a short cruise by safari boat along the river or even a microlight flight over the area and get a whole new perspective of where you are at. The camp also has some fantastic photographic blinds that have different focuses like a hippo pool or Carmine Bee Eater Nesting colony.
Day notes
Time for a mornings activity like a walk and then over to the airstrip for your short transfer flight up to the North Luangwa Park. Very scenic and you will get a real sense of the size and remoteness of this beautiful river.
Your guide will be there to meet you and take you to Mwaleshi Camp which is not far from the airstrip so you should be in camp in time for lunch and get settled in before an afternoon walk along the Mwaleshi River in the afternoon.

Day notes
Here at Mwaleshi Camp the focus is all around walking which is your main safari activity while you are here. It is a great location for walking with generally flat ground, variety of habitats and only a shallow ribbon of water which is the Mwaleshi River to cross or a nice place to find a shallow pool in the heat of the day to wallow in crystal clear waters.
This area is also home to Black Rhino so if you guide finds nice fresh tracks you may try and track one of these rare animals.
Day notes
This morning you will fly from the nearby airstrip back to Mfuwe Airport and this flight will be timed to suit the scheduled flight booked that will take you back to Lusaka.
