River Safari & Journey to the Kingdom of eSwatini
This morning, another highlight awaits you: a leisurely two-hour boat safari on the St. Lucia Estuary. Your boat will glide gently across the tranquil waters, and soon the impressive life of the river will reveal itself: hippos grunting as they surface, eyeing you sleepily before submerging again. Crocodiles basking on the banks appear motionless but are always vigilant.
The birdlife here is also spectacular. With a bit of luck, you might spot majestic white-tailed eagles, colorful kingfishers, and many other feathered inhabitants of this unique wetland. Afterward, you will bid farewell to South Africa's coast and continue your journey to the small but fascinating Kingdom of eSwatini (formerly Swaziland), one of the last three remaining monarchies in Africa. The landlocked country, bordering South Africa and Mozambique, surprises visitors with its hilly, picturesque landscape, which undulates gently under the African sky.

Afterward, you'll return to South Africa. In the afternoon you will reach your accommodation in Hazyview or Sabie, idyllically situated and a perfect starting point to discover the natural wonders of this region.

Today one of the most scenic routes in South Africa awaits you: the legendary Panorama Route. On the way to your lodge on the edge of the world-famous Kruger National Park, you will discover impressive natural phenomena and viewpoints that are among the highlights of the region. Your path takes you, among other things, to the Bourke's Luck Potholes, bizarre rock formations that were formed by thousands of years of water erosion and look like huge natural works of art. We continue to the Three Rondavels, three striking rocky peaks that rise from the rock face like traditional round huts - with a spectacular view of the Blyde River Canyon, which runs majestically through the landscape and is one of the largest canyons in the world.
If the weather is good, you can experience a particularly magical moment at God's Window: on a clear day, from this vantage point you can enjoy an almost limitless view over the green, semi-tropical Lowveld, the lowland that extends far into the horizon.
