Expert tips

Our research and many seasons of experience has taught us that the fishing out of Quepos is good throughout the year, however the absolute peak season for billfish is from December through late April.

You will be fishing from boats in the 31ft range with upgrades available. Our boats will be fully outfitted with the latest in communication and fish finding electronics.

The generally short runs (30-45 minute average) to the fishing grounds means less time traveling and more time fishing. Your captain has many years of experience and is well equipped to put you in the fish.

The mates on board will allow you to hook your own fish unless you decide otherwise. All provided tackle and lures are first class and you also have the option of bringing your own favorite lures.

The boats in Quepos do practice “catch and release”, so have your camera on board to capture the moment. Mounts are now made from a photo with taxidermists using a formula to calculate the dimensions of the fish to construct your mount.
