Approximately 500km south of Windhoek, close to the town of Keetmanshoop, is the Naute Dam.
The Naute Dam is primarily used for the supply of water to neighbouring towns and for the irrigation of the fruit plantations. What was previously barren, unfertile land now consists of 800 ha of grapes, dates, prickly pears and pomegranates. These fruits are the basis of our exquisit products. The finest Naute Kristall Distillery Fine Spirits will be retailed through lodges, hotels, restaurants and curio shops throughout Namibia. It should not surprise you that our Dandy (oak mature Date fine spirit) is already an export hit.

We recommend the scenic route along the Orangeriver, past Rosh Pinah to Lüderitzbucht. En-route the chance exist to view the wild Horses of the Namib in the Diamond Area.

Cross the rocky desert into the sandy Namib Desert towards the Atlantic Ocean.
