Your private safari guide will meet you at the Windhoek international airport. You will then travel west through the Namib Desert towards Swakopmund. Arrive in time for lunch followed by quad biking (ATVs) and sandboarding on the dunes near Swakopmund (alternatively choose from a list of other activities, activities are optional). Dinner at one of the excellent restaurants in town. Overnight in Swakopmund at your private beach house overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
We get up early and take a short drive to the Swakopmund Airport where you will board a 210 Cessna for a private air charter to Sossusvlei, home to the highest sand dunes on the planet.
At the Sesriem airstrip you will be met by a private driver and taken into the sand dune belt to view some of the most dramatic scenery on earth. Enjoy a delicious pick-nick brunch served under a camelthorn tree close to Sossusvlei.
Return to the aircraft for your scenic flight back to Swakopmund. The flight will take you first over the dunes to the ocean and then along the Skeleton Coast to view some of the ancient ship wrecks (activity optional).
Alternatively go on a Dolphin Cruise at the Walvis Bay Lagoon, a world heritage site for marine life! (activity optional). Explore the Namib desert and sites such as the Moon Landscape. Explore the town of Swakopmund and its many shops and café’s or barter for something special at the wood carver’s market. Have dinner at another fine restaurant. Overnight in Swakopmund.
We travel northeast to Okonjima and the Afri-Cat foundation. Your afternoon activity will be leopard tracking with an open top game drive vehicle, get closer to these spectacular cats than you ever thought possible! After dinner you can choose to go to the night hide or go on a night drive to view some of Africa’s nocturnal animals (activity optional).
Your morning activity will be a visit to the Afri-Cat Foundation to learn more about the conservation work they do with the African cat species and a cheetah excursion. Travel south to Erindi Game Reserve, the largest private game reserve in Namibia. Arrive in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive, possible sightings include elephant, rhino, lion, leopard, cheetah, giraffe, zebra and various other plains game species. Enjoy dinner overlooking the floodlit waterhole.
Explore the 190 000-acre Erindi Game Reserve on AM and PM game drives returning to the lodge for lunch and some time to relax aroundthe pool. End the day with a spectacular mountain top sun downer before returning to the lodge.
AM game drive followed by brunch served on the deck overlooking the waterhole. Transfer to Windhoek for your flight back home.
