Upon arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will meet our representative and get transfer to the hotel in Moshi.
Londorossi Gate/Shira trail head - Shira Camp (~3050 m/~10000 ft)

Altitude gain: ~950 m/~3100 ft
Early in the morning after breakfast you will be briefed about the Mount Kilimanjaro with the guide before the departure to the Londorossi gate by our 4WD land cruiser (or any jeep) about three and half hours. After all park registration formalities we proceed driving to near Simba campsite. Then lunch afterwards you start trekking through heather and moorland to the first camp (about 1-2 hrs) to Shira 1 camp (3505 m) for dinner and overnight in tents.
Shira Huts (3850 m/12630 ft) via Shira Cathedral

Altitude gain: 800 m/2630 ft
After breakfast we continue walking towards the Shira Hut for lunch 3926 m. The day is spent acclimatizing. A visit can be made to the Plats Cone on the ridge. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Shira Huts - via Lava Tower (4640 m/15220 ft) - Barranco Huts (3985 m/13070 ft)

Walking time: 6-8 hours
Altitude gain: 135 m/440 ft (790 m/2590 ft to Lava Tower)
In the morning after breakfast from the Shira Plateau we continue to the East passing the junction towards the peak of Kibo. As we continue our direction changes to South East towards the Lava Tower, shortly after the tower we come to the second junction which divides away to Arrow Glacier and Barranco. We have now reached an altitude of (4876 m). We now continue down to the Barranco hut at an altitude of (3860 m). Dinner and camp overnight.
Barranco Huts - Karanga Camp (4040 m/13255 ft)

Walking time: 4-5 hours
Altitude gain: 55 m/185 ft
Barranco Hut (3950 m) to Karanga Valley Camp (4200 m). The morning starts with a scramble up the almost vertical Barranco Wall to an altitude of about 4 200m. After lunch the climbers are advised to take a rest at this point. Dinner / Overnight.
Karanga Camp - Barafu Huts (4680 m/15360 ft)
Walking distance: 3.5 km/ 2.2 miles
Walking time: 4-5 hours
Altitude gain: 640 m/2105 ft
Karanga Valley (4200 m) to Barafu Hut (4600 m). From here there is no water, so take care to stock them for there is no water at Barafu Hut. It is recommended that the climbers must familiarize with the camp before dark because of this camp is situated on an exposed and dangerous ridge.
Summit attempt via Stella Point (5752 m/18871 ft) to Uhuru Peak (5895 m/19340 ft) and descent to Mweka Hut.
Walking distance: 5 km/3 miles ascent + 10 km/6.2 miles descent
Walking time: 5-6 hrs + 1-2 hours up, 5-6 hours down (the overall walking time may vary from 10 - 16 hours)
Altitude gain: 1072 m/ 3511 ft (Stella Point) or 1215 m/3980 ft (Uhuru Peak)
Descent: 2075 m/6810 ft
An early start for the ascent to the rim of the Kibo Crater between the Rebmann and Ratzel Glaciers, four hours from here a further hour leads to Uhuru Peak (5985 m). Descend to the Barafu Hut for a rest and lunch before continuing on down to camp at Mweka Hut for dinner and overnight.
Mweka Camp - Mweka Gate
Walking distance: 20 km/12.5 miles
Walking time: 5 hours
Descent: 1990 m/6530 ft
After breakfast we continue the descent (3-4 hours) down to the Mweka Park gate and then drive back to Moshi for celebration hot shower dinner and overnight at hotel.
In the morning after having your breakfast you will be driving to Masama village for coffee life cycle tour. This tour will take you to the famous Arabica coffee plantations of Kilimanjaro. You will get enough time to interact with indigenous and make your on cup of coffee in a traditional way. Hot traditional lunch will be served during lunch hours. This tour will end up by been transferred to the Kilimanjaro International Airport to connect with your international flight.
