On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi, you’ll be met by a Travel Wild Representative and transferred to the Ole Sereni Hotel.
After breakfast, transfer to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Tsavo West National Park, departing at 0730h. On arrival, a lodge representative will meet you and transfer you to Kilaguni Serena Lodge for check-in. Its location is unrivaled with dramatic views of Mt Kilimanjaro and in the path of traditional wildlife migration routes. The lodge is rich in history, passion, and conservation. You will also enjoy the classic stone design and views of elephants, buffalo and other plains game drinking and cooling off in our water hole.
The day is spent exploring Tsavo West National Park.
You will have morning and afternoon game drives including Mzima Springs where you will watch hippos, crocodiles and exotic fish swimming in the freshwater springs. Also, there are numerous rocky outcrops and ridges and part of the park, towards the Chyulu Hills, is of recent volcanic origin with lava flows and ash cones including the Shetani lava flows, an example of a recent volcano.
Tsavo West features large numbers of elephants and herds of buffalo numbering up to 1000. This open savannah contains eland, giraffe, monkey, warthog, zebra, impala, cheetah, lion, leopard and much more.
Fly to Nairobi then connect with your flight to Nanyuki where you will be met and transferred to the beautiful Sweetwaters Tented Camp.
Spend the day in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy - East Africa’s largest sanctuary for the black rhino, chimpanzees, and home to the last two Northern White rhinos on planet Earth. Venture out there for high altitude adapted plains game, Unique montane and alpine vegetation with 11 species of endemic plants.
Fly to the Maasai Mara National Reserve offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game.
Full day in Masai Mara Game Reserve and Mara North Conservancy with scheduled activities to choose from.
After breakfast, fly to Nairobi arriving at 1215h. You will be met and transferred to your hotel closeby, check-in and have lunch. This afternoon, you have an opportunity to relax and have the rest of the day at leisure. In the evening, have dinner at The Carnivore Restaurant.
You may want to visit some attraction sites in Nairobi like the Giraffe Center, Karen Blixen Museum or a cultural or city tour this afternoon.
After breakfast, have the morning at leisure. Later transfer to the Wilson Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. You will be transferred your hotel upon arrival.
