Day 1: Luang Prabang

Up on your flight arrival, meet your guide and transfer to the hotel for check in.
Lunch at the local restaurant.
The rest of the day, we spend to visit That Luang Stupa, the single most important monument in Laos, which was built to cover the original small stupa containing a piece of the chest bone of Buddha, That Luang serves as the main and symbolic stupa in Laos. It’s also our national symbol and recognizable throughout the world, gathering place for national Buddhism ceremony. It’s also the biggest stupa in Laos; Patouxay (Arch de Triumph), built quite recently in commemoration of those who died during the wars in the past and it is today as the land-mark of Vientiane.
We will visit COPE center before transfer back to your accommodation.

Day 2: Overnight Travel

After breakfast, transfer to airport for your flight to Phonsavanh. After breakfast, transfer to airport for your flight to Phonsavanh. 
The rest of the day up on arrival Phonsavanh, we spend around Phonsavanh with the first of visit Plain of jar site 1 and stop at mulberry farm to visit the process how Lao silk being produced.
Return back to the hotel for your accommodation.

Day 3: Luang Prabang

In the morning, we will visit the local fresh market where local people selling their vegetables and local stuff. Back to the accommodation for your breakfast.

After packing, we head to plain of jar site 2 or Hai Hin Phu Salato is locate about 20 km southwest of Phonsavanh. The site contains 93 jars spread across two adjacent hills.
Then continue to MUANG KHOUN, old Xieng Khuang, 35km southeast of Phonsavan, was once the royal seat of the minor kingdom Xieng Khuang, renowned in the sixteenth century for its 62 opulent stupas, whose sides were said to be covered in treasure.

All that remains of the kingdom’s former glory is an elegant Buddha image towering over ruined columns of brick at Wat Phia Wat, and That Dam, both of which bear the scars of the events that ended Xieng Khuang’s centuries of rich history.

Lunch will be served at restaurant on the way to Luang Prabang. Arrive Luang Prabang early evening.

Day 4: Luang Prabang

The first half of the day is spent visiting the museum at the former Royal Palace Museum which was built between 1904 & 1905, during the French colonial times as a residence for King Sisavangvong. This fascinating museum features the original royal chambers, paintings depicting traditional Lao life, a throne room, and four of the old royal cars, including an Easel.
We then continue to the monasteries of Wat Xieng Thong which was built by King Sayasettha back in 1565. It is also known as the most beautiful temple in Luang Prabang.

The next stop is Wat Visoun temple which was built by King Visounnarath 500 years ago in 1513! After enjoying lunch we head to Ock Pop Tok weaving center – a Lao fair trade textile enterprise.
The next stop is the incredibly scenic Kuang Xi Waterfall which is surrounded with turquoise blue pools and an ideal place for swimming!
You will pass by the Free the Bears Center, a rescue center for endangered Asiatic black bears. If available, chat with the centers Program Manager and learn about the pan-Asian organization which provides a home for black bears res-cued from poachers and traffickers
Back in Luang Prabang we will visit Wat Phousi to enjoy the rewarding view of the city.

Day 5: End of Itinerary

We depart from your accommodation and take a short transfer to the boat pier.

We board the boat and begin our cruise along the amazing Mekong which takes us past idyllic scenes of rural riverside life and spectacular scenery until reaching the beautiful Pak Ou Caves which sit amongst the limestone cliffs where the Mekong and Nam Ou rivers meet. The caves are spilt in two, one named Tham Ting and the other Tham Theung. They are both filled with thousands of Buddha images and statues which have been deposited here over centuries.

Pak Ou remains a popular pilgrimage site for Lao people, especially during the Lao New Year in April when the caves become crowded with pilgrims who gain merit by ceremonially washing the Buddha statues. We take time to explore upper and lower caves before stopping for a delicious Lao lunch at a nearby restaurant.

After lunch, we enjoy visit the village that make Lao Whiskey then boating back to Luang Prabang.
