Overnight in Jerusalem

Day 2: Jerusalem

Drive to Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the city. Stop at Mount Zion to visit King David's Tomb, Room of the Last Supper and the Dormition Abbey. Enter the Old City and walk through the Armenian and Jewish quarters to the recently excavated and restored Cardo, the Roman road. See the Jewish Wailing Wall, the Kotel, and continue to the Christian quarter.

Walk along the Via Dolorosa and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Proceed to the New City and visit Yad Vashem, the memorial to the Holocaust. This evening maybe try Satya, a renowned hotspot serving up Mediterranean inspired food  with a focus on fresh seafood along with daily specials.

Day 3: Tel Aviv

Today transfer to Tel Aviv, Israel's cultural and financial capital. Enjoy a walking tour, starting in the Old Port City of Jaffa, the oldest seaport in the world and home to a vibrant multiethnic community of Muslims, Christians and Jews, and its famous Flea Market. Among the extremely varied merchandise you can find anything from old Persian tiles to Judaica, used cloths and old furniture. But nowadays the Flea Market is much more, its designer boutiques and trendy restaurants have made it  one of Tel Aviv’s hotspots. Continue by Neve Zedek, Tel Aviv’s very first neighborhood to Rothschild Boulevard, the beating heart of Tel Aviv.

Home of The White City, Tel Aviv’s most prominent collection of Bauhaus (International Style) buildings, the area was built during the 1930s and 1940s and its functional architecture not only created well-designed objects, but also a cohesive urban landscape that is unparalleled in the world. Tel Aviv is also Israel’s culinary capital.  Onza and Shaffa restaurants in the flea market  are especially recommended. Try the Social Club near Rostchild Blvd. for typical Tel Aviv vibe, characteristically loud and fun or maybe Port Said offering the best street food by Chef Eyal Shani, or if you’re up to gourmet experiences, try Shila’s seafood or "Taizu", with amazing “AsiaTerranean” dishes. Overnight in Tel Aviv.
