Drive by the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in front of the Parliament House on Constitution Square and the Panathenaic Stadium (site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896).
See the Roman Temple of Olympian Zeus and visit the Acropolis with its many monuments atop its rocky base, including the awesome Parthenon, the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike and the Erechtheum with its Porch of Maidens. Also visit the Acropolis Museum, which was built to house every artifact found on the rock and on its feet, from the Greek Bronze Age to Roman and Byzantine period.
In the afternoon we shall discover the local culture through gastronomy! You will learn how to cook traditional Greek dishes with the aid of an experienced Cooking instructor. Get to know the wonderful world of Mediterranean cuisine; the herbs, the fresh vegetables, the choice meats that we always use and learn the basics on how to prepare a full Greek Sunday dinner with easy to follow recipes you can use to impress your guests when you get back home.
You will be transferred back to your Athens hotel at the end to enjoy the hotel and its surrounding area....

ATHENS – MYCENAE – NAFPLION
After breakfast, please check out of the hotel and meet your driver / guide for a full day of activity, just outside the Athens area.
You'll start with an enchanting drive along the Saronic Gulf. First stop will be at Corinth Canal for pictures.
Then you'll drive to Mycenae, the legendary home of the Atreides.
In Mycenae, you'll meet with your local guide and together, visit the remains of the late Helladic citadel fortified by massive Cyclopean walls, the Lionesses' Gate, the Mycenaean Palace and the tomb of King Agamemnon.
Continue to Nafplion, a beautiful seaport town.
Enjoy the afternoon at leisure, taking in the sites and shops of the town.
Overnight in Nafplion.

NAFPLION – EPIDAURUS – NAFPLION
Enjoy the morning with a walk in the picturesque alleys of the Old Town of Nafplion. You'll take in the wonderful neoclassical buildings and mansions, images that bring ancient Greece to life. Then drive to Epidaurus to visit the archaeological site and the ancient theatre still in use today, famous for its remarkable acoustics.
You will return to Nafplion in the afternoon. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure.
NAFPLION - ATHENS – MYKONOS
Check-out from the hotel and meet with your local guide.
Today you are met and transferred to Pireas Port (Athens) (1.5 hour drive) where you will board the speed ferry to Mykonos. (3.5 hour)
You will meet your assistant upon arrival and transfer to your hotel.
In the afternoon, walk along the cobblestone streets of cosmopolitan Chora and enjoy a drink in one of its many cafes.
Try local dishes at one of many renowned restaurants and later on discover the world-famous Mykonos night life!

FREE MORNING IN MYKONOS – DELOS TOUR
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
Explore the island’s best beaches with fine sand and crystal-clear water that are perfect for fun in the sun! As you take in the beautiful sea-and-sand landscapes, you can enjoy windsurfing, water-skiing and diving. Equipment rentals are not included, but readily available on the beach at various vendors - or you can bring your own!
After lunch [not included], you'll transfer to the port for a boat ride to Delos, a sacred island in ancient times, said to have been the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. The island has many archaeological sites, such as the Lions’ Way and the three temples of Apollo.
Return to Mykonos by boat and transfer back to the hotel.

Visit the traditional village of Ano Mera and its unusual monastery, Panagia I Tourliani, with ornate marble towers. The village square encircled by small Greek tavernas has a true Greek feel.
Visit San Stefanos beach, famous Paradise beach, Agios Ioannis beach, in Shirley Valentine’s eyes, was one of the most attractive spots. Come and see what Shirley saw before the area changes and develops into a larger resort. If you are worried about getting lost in the tangle of narrow streets in Mykonos town your guide can simplify the maze (a little!).
In a short walk you will discover the main historic parts of the town (Windmills, Little Venice, Paraportiani church, Kastro area) along with very useful information for your return later in your stay.
Please note that if you choose this tour over the half day Delos tour, the cost will stay the same, as the cost for each is the same. You will not be able to do both in the same day....
MYKONOS – SANTORINI
Enjoy Breakfast and check out of the hotel.
You'll be transferred to the port for the high speed ferry to Santorini, (2-3 hours) the island with the most spectacular landscape, breathtaking views of the volcano, black sand beaches and romantic sunsets.
Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.
Walk around the town of Fira, full of unique shopping and quaint cafes and enjoy a fantastic view from the cliffs of the Caldera.

AKROTIRI VISIT – AFTERNOON CALDERA HIKING
Meet with your guide and visit the excavations of Akrotiri, where ruins of a Minoan city were found. It had been destroyed around the year 1613 BC by an eruption of the volcano of Thera. As in the case of ancient Pompeii, two and three-story buildings, city squares, shops and workshops were buried under the lava. Marvelous frescoes were found in some of the houses, as well as vases and utensils in everyday use.
In the early afternoon enjoy a guided walking tour on Santorini’s most impressive path, right on the rim of the famous volcanic caldera. Follow the footsteps of ancient merchants, farmers and sailors, and experience a once in a lifetime adventure at the edge of the super volcano that inspired the myth of Atlantis.
Your local guide will take you through traditional whitewashed settlements, at the only inhabited caldera in the world. Starting from Fira and ending in Imerovigli, you will enjoy extraordinary views, visit unique places of interest and capture exceptional photographic moments.
You'll be transferred back to your hotel in time for dinner.....

MORNING PRIVATE BOAT TOUR
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then meet your transfer driver for a ride to Ammoudi port for a morning boat tour below the Caldera.
First stop at Hot Springs for swimming!
Your boat will sail past Aspronisi, Ancient Lighthouse, Akrotiri and Indian Rock.
Second stop at the White Beach for swimming and BBQ on board.
Third stop at the Red Beach for swimming and snorkeling. The tour ends at Vlychada port, from where you will be transferred back to the hotel.
In the evening take the opportunity to have dinner at one of many taverns offering delicious traditional food.
