Day 1: Lima

Welcome to Lima, the City of the Kings. Upon arrival, you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel.

In the afternoon, explore some of the city’s most famous landmarks. Walk through the historic center, visiting the Main Square and Plaza San Martín, surrounded by elegant colonial buildings and lively streets full of history and local life.

Day 2: Cusco

Take an early flight from Lima to Cusco (flight not included). Upon arrival, you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel.

In the afternoon, discover the highlights of Cusco on a guided city tour. Visit the impressive Koricancha Sun Temple and Cusco Cathedral, then explore nearby Inca sites including Qenqo, Sacsayhuamán Fortress, and the ancient aqueducts of Tambomachay. It’s the perfect introduction to the history and culture of the Andes.

Day 3: The Sacred Valley of the Incas

After breakfast, leave Cusco behind and journey into the beautiful Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Begin with a visit to the colorful Pisac market and nearby Inca ruins. Continue to Awana Kancha, where you’ll meet llamas, alpacas, vicuñas, and guanacos, while learning about traditional Andean weaving techniques.

Later, enjoy a traditional lunch with a local Quechua family in Urubamba. In the afternoon, explore the impressive fortress of Ollantaytambo, one of the most important Inca sites in the valley.

Day 4: Aguas Calientes

After breakfast, board the famous Inca Rail train from the Sacred Valley to Aguas Calientes. The journey passes through beautiful mountain scenery, rivers, and cloud forest landscapes.

Upon arrival, continue with your guide to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Your visit includes Circuit 2A Classic, covering both the agricultural terraces and urban sector of the citadel. Highlights include the Sun Temple viewpoint, the Sacred Stone, the Temple of the Condor, and the famous Guard House with its iconic views.

After the guided visit, return to Aguas Calientes and enjoy a free afternoon to relax or explore the town at your own pace.

Day 5: Cusco

Enjoy a relaxed morning in Aguas Calientes. You can spend the time at leisure, or choose an optional second visit to Machu Picchu or a hike up Wayna Picchu for even more spectacular views.

In the afternoon, board the train back to Ollantaytambo, where your transfer will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 6: Cusco

Today you can choose between two of the most popular day trips from Cusco.

Rainbow Mountain takes you high into the Andes for a scenic trek at over 5,000 m. After a walk of around 45–60 minutes, enjoy panoramic views of the colorful slopes of Vinicunca, with the snow-capped Ausangate Volcano rising in the background.

Or choose Humantay Lake, a beautiful hike through mountain landscapes leading to the striking turquoise waters of the lake and glacier. The trek takes around 2 hours and offers spectacular views along the way.

Both experiences offer unforgettable scenery and a chance to explore the natural beauty of the Peruvian Andes.

Day 7: End of Itinerary

It’s time to say goodbye and head home with unforgettable memories of Peru and the Andes.

A transfer to Cusco Airport is included in time for your flight. If possible, we recommend booking a later departure, giving you more free time to enjoy the atmosphere, streets, and historic sites of this beautiful city.
