Day 3: Cape Town

Day 3 - Table Mountain & The Cape Winelands

After breakfast at your hotel, your guide will collect you for a day that beautifully blends breathtaking scenery and fine wine experiences.

If weather conditions allow and the cableway is operational, begin your morning with a ride up the iconic Table Mountain — one of the New Seven Natural Wonders of the World. As the rotating cable car glides to the summit, enjoy a 360-degree view of Cape Town unfolding beneath you — from the sparkling V&A Waterfront and Camps Bay’s white beaches, to the rugged peaks of the Twelve Apostles and, on a clear day, even as far as Cape Point. Take time to stroll along the marked pathways, soak in the panoramic views, and capture unforgettable photographs before descending.

Leaving the city behind, journey into the Cape Winelands, a region of rolling vineyards, oak-lined avenues, and historic Cape Dutch estates. Visit two carefully selected wine farms, each offering its own unique character and terroir. Sample a range of award-winning wines while learning about South Africa’s winemaking heritage from knowledgeable hosts.

Enjoy a relaxed lunch at leisure (own account) at one of the region’s charming restaurants — perhaps overlooking the vines or in the heart of a quaint village — before returning to Cape Town in the late afternoon.
