Turn the capital on its heels by using all forms of urban transport to hit the big sites and hidden corners of one of the world's coolest cities.
This adventure is an outstanding introduction to frantic Bangkok, using a variety of local transport such as skytrains, tuk-tuks,
canal boats, walking etc. This is an innovative approach to urban travel, avoiding traffic and providing a liberating way to
explore the city while supporting local businesses.
Typically we visit:
- Flower market
- Golden Mount at Wat Saket
- Wat Pho and the Reclining Buddha
- Canals of Thonburi

Note: The Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha are magnificent and some of Bangkok’s iconic sites. However, due to the growing potential for large crowds and long lines we generally recommend visiting alternative historic sites of significance which have fewer crowds. We are happy to include the Grand Palace if it is a must see for you.
Floating Market and Mangrove Conservation Centre
Ideal for a family outing, family with older children (8 years old and older), clients who seek different experiences outside of Bangkok, are adventurous and interested in nature conservation.
We’ll pick you up after an early breakfast at your hotel and drive west to visit Tha Kha Floating Market. Board a small wooden paddle boat and cruise through palm plantations and soak in old market culture lovingly locked in time.
After a delicious lunch at a local eatery, it’s time for mangrove planting, monkey watching and water (mud) skiing. A short journey takes us to the Mangrove Forest Conservation Centre where we’ll boat through a mangrove forest out to the shallow Gulf of Thailand.

Note: You need to be prepared to get muddy when planting mangroves and mud skiing. There are facilities for showering and freshening up. Please bring a towel and a change of clothes. Driving takes around 1.5 hours each way from Bangkok.
From Bangkok to Lanna Kingdom, Chiang Mai.
Meet your guide and driver in the lobby for your private transfer to Chiang Mai.
Upon arrival, meet your local host at the arrival hall and privately transfer to your hotel. Check in, relax and prepare to be dazzled.
As dusk begins to settle, we’ll take you on a unique adventure exploring a large swath of Chiang Mai’s evening attractions. The fun and quickest way is as a passenger in our exclusive 6-seater tuk-tuk! Your driver will skilfully pick the best routes while your host fills you in on the many intricacies of this vibrant town.
We’ll enjoy a northern Thai feast for dinner and end up at one of the many night markets or walking streets depending on the day of the week. Optionally, for those looking for a bit of an adrenaline rush, you can enjoy the same experience being chauffeured on a scooter.

Morning Elephant Love and afternoon Chiang Mai All Classic Sites
Today you will get to care for some of earth’s most majestic animals at the Patara Elephant Farm in Hang Dong Valley, a short 50 minute drive from the city of Chiang Mai. This is an ideal excursion to learn about, and to care for elephants with an emphasis on pregnant elephants and mothers with small babies. You will have quality time to learn about elephant conservation in action as you take part in the daily healthcare routine which includes inspection, feeding, and walking with the elephants. You'll be able to observe elephant families interacting in a natural environment and build an appreciation for these fascinating gentle giants.
Note: There is no riding of the elephants involved in this program.
Time: half-day, morning (07:30-13:00)
Afternoon Chiang Mai All Classic Sites
Considered the second most important city in Thailand, Chiang Mai has an entirely different feel than bustling Bangkok. Today, we suggest exploring the classic sites in and around the city, including its numerous Lanna temples (wats) from Wat Chedi Luang - the original home of the Emerald Buddha, and Wat Phra Singh and its Wihan Lai Kham, offering a prime example of classical Lanna architecture. Later, continued to visit the mountain temple of Wat Doi Suthep which was built in 1383 to enshrine Buddha’s relics. Enjoy stunning panoramic views of Chiang Mai city and the surrounding countryside before returning to your hotel.
There are dozens of possible landmarks to choose from, but the aforementioned are considered the ‘must sees’. Flexible touring means we can explore as much or as little as you like - your wish is our command!

Thai Cooking Class and with afternoon Hill Tribes in Chiang Mai
Today you will be taken to a local market where your chef and teacher for the day will describe the quintessential tastes and smells of Thai cuisine ingredients. Be prepared to sample fruit you've never seen and spices you've never heard of. If there is a particular dish you want to learn to make, tell the chef here so they can show you the necessary ingredients.
After the market you will be taken back to the cooking school's kitchen to begin meal preparations. The chef will talk you through every step of preparation and explain the history and cultural significance of each dish, from famous ones like mango with sticky rice and tom yum to lesser known ones like khao kluk kapi and tub tim krob. At the end your labors will come to fruition with a great Thai feast and some amazing dinner party recipes!
For hill tribe villages near Chiang Mai, we can visit Tong Luang village which is located in the same neighborhood as Maesa Elephant Camp, about one hour drive north of Chiang Mai city (south of Four Seasons Chiang Mai). It is good to note that this Tong Luang village is a community based tourism village with nine minority groups all in one place.
The village is for the convenience of travelers who do not have time or cannot go trekking for days to reach villages in the mountains. It offers a taste of their cultures which are fast disappearing. Most hill-tribes villages have improved their standard of living so they mostly do not live in bamboo and thatch huts anymore and also rarely wear their traditional costumes apart from when they have a festival.
