After arrival at the airpot and your meet & greet you will be taken to the the other side of the Island, to Tamarin Bay on the west coast. Here you will stay for 4 nights at the brand new Veranda Tamarin, the trendy place to be. You will stay in a Comfort Room, either looking onto the garden or the mountains (room upgrade options available). The hotel is very different to most other resorts on the island who usually have a focus on couples/ honeymoon and family holidays. Veranda Tamarin has a very relaxed atmosphere and only includes breakfast so that you can go out and explore nearby places to try local food and connect to the Mauritians.
In the mornings go and watch the dolphins coming into the bay and then either enjoy one of the many water sport activities from here like surfing, paddle boarding, canoeing,.. simply relax or explore the area around. From here you can easily visit the artisanal salt-making at the Salines, an outing to the Casela Nature & Leisure Park, the Seven Coloured Earth geological formation in Chamarel, you can do a trek in Rivière Noire’s National Park, or the Morne Brabant peninsula, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, reputed for trekking and kitesurfing.
Enjoy a last morning overlooking Tamarin Bay and then take your transfer back to the airport.
