Day 1: Mluwati Concession

Departing from the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport bus terminal by 06:30am, you will join in on our group transfer to the Kruger National Park and surrounding areas.

Set within a 10 000 hectare private concession this is truly the “Gem of Kruger”. Hamiltons Tented Camp was named after Colonel Stephenson Hamilton, who was instrumental in establishing the world famous Kruger National Park.

Hamiltons Tented Camp epitomises luxury with an outstanding safari experience. Magnificent tented suites complete with teak floorboards, dreamy mosquito nets, slipper baths, outdoor showers and a superb view of the complete seasonal river, linked to the main lodge area by raised timber walkways amongst ancient Jackalberry trees.

Uncompromising elegance and breathtaking beauty identifies Hamiltons tented Camp. Activities include Nomadic African Spa treatments and open vehicle safaris, where, guests will enjoy some of Kruger’s most spectacular landscapes and an extraordinary variety of wildlife, birdlife and plant life. On arrival at the lodge you will enjoy a welcome drink before being checked into your room, have time to freshen up before departing on your first Guided Open vehicle safari drive.

Stopping along route to enjoy a sun downer drink and stretch your legs before returning to the Hamiltons Luxury Tented Lodge in time for dinner.

Dinner is served in the restaurants main dining area and serves wonderful South African Cuisine.

Day 2: Mluwati Concession

Being on a safari, means early morning wake up calls from your guide as the sun rises over the National Park.

Tea and coffee is served in the lodges main dining area, before departing on a morning open vehicle safari drive. ‘

Your guide and tracker will follow up on any spoor (animal footprints) that can be found on the gravel roads to track down the movement of the animals overnight. The morning safari drives are exciting to say as much, anxiously waiting to see what your guide and tracker have located. Getting up close and personal with the animals in the Kruger National Park is a daily basis, as your guide can travel of the road to get you amazing photographic opportunities.

On returning to the Lodge, a well-deserved breakfast is served before enjoying the heat of the day at the Lodge, in the comfort of your room, by the swimming pool and sipping on a cocktail at the Lodges well stocked Bar.

A light lunch and High tea are available at the Lodges main dining area before returning to the Open vehicle to enjoy a sunset safari drive in the Africa Wilderness. Your guide and tracker will make use of powerful spot lights to search for the animals once the sun has set.

Dinner is served once again at the Lodge, before retiring to your en-suite room for the night.

Day 3: Mluwati Concession

Day 4: End of Itinerary

Awaken to the sounds of the Birds chirping in the nearby trees, as dawn breaks through the African Wilderness, Tea and coffee is served at the Lodge dining area before departing on your final Open vehicle safari drive, hoping to locate any animals that have eluded you thus far on your safari package to the National Park.

After Breakfast at the Lodge, you will have time to check out of your room before being collected from the Lodge for your return road transfer to Johannesburg.

Arriving back in Johannesburg at the OR Tambo Airport Bus terminal between 17:30 – 18:00. If you are planning on traveling further, we do suggest reserving a domestic flight that departs no earlier than 19:30 and an International Flight that departs no earlier than 21:00
