Kenya Lake Naivasha Loldia House and Masai Mara II Moran Camp - Superior Luxury

Arrive Jomo Kenyatta International Airport off your international flight. Transfer by road through the scenically beautiful Great Rift Valley down to Loldia House, nestling on the shores of Lake Naivasha.

This is a two-hour drive from Nairobi. Enjoy a delicious lunch on the lawn overlooking Mt Longonot. Afternoon at leisure on the farm, witnessing the prolific variety of bird-life on the lake and the lake shore. Dinner and overnight at Loldia House.

Full day’s activities on Loldia Ranch. These include birdwatching and boat trips on Lake Naivasha, visits to the local flower farm and a night game drive.

Early breakfast before departing to Lake Nakuru National Park. Morning game drive around Lake Nakuru, famous for its abundance of flamingos and large variety of water birds. Lake Nakuru is also one of Kenya’s Rhino Sanctuaries and large numbers of Rhinos are regularly seen, along with good sightings of Leopard.

Lunch is served under the Acacia trees overlooking the lake. Return to Loldia in the afternoon.

Dinner and overnight at Loldia House.

Breakfast is served on the lawns of Loldia House. After breakfast you will be taken to the Loldia airstrip for your Governors Aviation flight to the Mara. Arrival at Musiara airstrip at approximately 11:00am. Short game drive en-route to the camp. Settle in to camp, lunch, relax in camp after lunch and then out on afternoon game drive to explore the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Back to camp before sundown, pre-dinner drinks around the camp fire, a four course candlelit dinner in the dining tent and overnight at ll Moran Camp

The camp for those who want that extra bit of luxury. We’ve kept Governors’ IL Moran Camp small and intimate, with added touches that make this the top of the range safari. IL Moran is widely regarded as the premiere camp in the Masai Mara.

Hidden under ancient trees, deep in the forest, are just 10 tents. They line the winding banks of the Mara River. You’ll be the personal guest of our manager, who’ll look after all your needs.

The camp is situated along the banks of the Mara River, right in the heart of the Masai Mara Game Reserve, with the best game viewing right on your doorstep. Governors Il Moran Camp has been awarded a Silver Eco Rating by Eco Tourism Kenya for our environmental practices both in camp and with our neighbourng community. 

Depart the camp at 5.30am to the Balloon Safari site and enjoy a fabulous 1 hour Hot Air Balloon safari across the plains of the Masai Mara . On landing enjoy a champagne bush breakfast, freshly cooked before you eyes in the middle of the Mara plains. Game drive back to camp.

Spend the morning relaxing before lunch at the camp, afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight.

Early morning game drive at dawn, returning to the Camp for breakfast. A 10:30am game drive, returning to the camp for lunch. A 3:30pm game drive returning to camp before sundown.

Just outside the Masai Mara National Reserve is a traditional Masai community called Mara Rianda. There is a traditional Masai homestead or Manyatta which consists of 48 traditional houses surrounding a cattle enclosure. We encourage clients to visit this manyatta if they are interested in Masai culture and would like to experience a way of life unchanged for centuries. Visitors are always struck by the grace and beauty of the Masai people, and the colourful lifestyle they lead. . There is also a bustling curio market where guests can buy traditional Masai beadwork.

Dinner and overnight

Transfer to Airkenya scheduled flight at 4:00pm for Nairobi. Arriving at Wilson Airport at 5.00pm. Where you will be met and transferred to the very well known Carnivore restaurant for dinner (Dinner to be paid direct). After dinner transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in time for your international flight home.
