Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, a representative will be waiting to welcome and assist you to the vehicle hire kiosk.

Arriving at Babylonstoren Farm Hotel, complete the check in procedures  thereafter continue to your room to freshen up, relax and unwind as the remainder of your day is at leisure.

After your scrumptious breakfast check out and enjoy your journey to Bartholomeus Klip Farmhouse.

Arriving at the Farmhouse, complete the check in procedures thereafter continue to your room to freshen up, relax and unwind as this will be your sanctuary for the next three nights.

En-route to Bartholomeus Klip Farmhouse, stop at Bosman Family Vineyard located in Wellington for wine tasting 

The Bosman Family Vineyards is not only a wine producer. Their cellar is part of Bosman Adama, an organisation that includes a plant improvement facility, which plays a major role in propagating new, healthy vines; and a vine nursery supplying “stokkies” (grafted cuttings) to grape farmers across the country.

Day 4: Elandsberg Nature Reserve

Bartholomeus Klip is situated in the heart of the Cape Winelands, with its world-renowned wine estates celebrating the distinct terroirs of the Swartland, Wellington, Paarl, Voorperdeberg and Tulbagh – and a little further away, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek – and with many of South Africa’s best restaurants

Seeking serene surroundings, enjoy the many little corners in our gardens, at the dam, around the pool or even in the nature reserve, to retreat in solitude. Some may try their hand at fishing, while others will watch birds, read a book or take a well-deserved nap.

For others, seeking an unusual, exciting or daring experience. enjoy some swimming or kayaking at the dam. The nature reserve and the farm roads around Bartholomeus Klip may be explored on a bicycle, on foot, or from the back of our open Land Rover – on one of our guided nature drives.

After your leisurely breakfast, check out and continue your journey to Jan Harmsgat Country House.

En route to Swellendam, stopover at Viljoensdrift in Roberston to enjoy your 50mintue boat cruise and wine tasting. 

The Viljoen family heritage of winemaking dates back to 1818 when their French Huguenot forefathers first planted vines. Today brothers Fred and Manie Viljoen continue this proud tradition and, after humble beginnings in 1998, they are producing award-winning wines with global appeal.

Day 7: Swellendam

Take part in the Backlands Farm Tour and enjoy a sunset picnic and wine tasting in the countryside, or perhaps a drive through the winelands and explore nature reserves, hiking trails or roadside stalls and shops.

Day 8: End of Itinerary

Enjoy your last day at this peaceful haven, before  checking out and continuing your journey back to Cape Town for your onward travels.

Arriving at Cape Town International Airport, drop off your rental vehicle at the kiosk. Thereafter make your way to the check in for your onward flight.
