Your journey begins from Wilson Airport in Nairobi. From here, you will fly to to Lake Naivasha. Once you land, you will be collected and transferred to the lodge for a welcome drink. After checking in and relaxing, you can head out on your first afternoon game drive in search of animals.

It is also possible to arrange a day trip to Lake Nakuru National Park or Lake Elementaita, Eburu Forest Reserve & Bongo conservation area, local flower farms, the local school, and to Crescent Island at an additional cost.

After a last morning game drive at Lake Naivasha (time permitting) you will board a light aircraft flight to Wilson Airport. From here you will continue with a connection flights to Laikipia, where you will be met by your guide and transferred to your new lodge. Governers Mugie has a range of different safari activities on offer and you can enjoy your first game drive here in the afternoon.

- Join the tracking team to look for collared lions
- Guests have the choice of visiting nearby Pokot and Samburu tribes communities (a donation is requested)
- Venturing out on a sustainably powered electric mountain bike with your safari guide
- Guided bush walks
- Canoeing
It is also possible to arrange non-standard activities such as scenic flights at an additional cost. There is also the Mugie Conservancy’s nine-hole golf course.

After your last shared safari activity and breakfast at Mugie's House, you will fly to to the world famous Maasai Mara reserve. Upon landing, you will be met and transferred to Governor's Camp. You can then head out on your first shared afternoon game drive in your new surroundings.
