Upon your arrival at Windhoek Airport, you will be met by a friendly, English-speaking driver. You will then be transferred to your hotel, where check-in is available from 2:00 PM. Off to the Namib Desert!
At 8:00 a.m., your German-speaking tour guide will greet you at the hotel, and your Namibia tour begins with an introductory city tour of Windhoek. You'll gain initial insights into the history, culture, and architecture of Namibia's capital. Afterward, you'll travel south along a scenic route.
Your destination for the day is Sesriem, the gateway to the Namib Desert. En route, you'll stop for a break in the small, charming, and quirky desert village of Solitaire. A stop here is worthwhile not only to catch your breath but also to sample the legendary apple pie, offered at a very reasonable price and long considered a cult favorite among travelers.
Your accommodation near Sesriem is idyllically situated on the edge of the vast Namib dune belt. After checking in, you'll have time to enjoy the view of the red-gold desert landscape from the terrace. In the evening, a delicious dinner awaits you—the perfect end to an eventful day.
The Magic of the Desert in the Morning Light at Sossusvlei & Dead Vlei
Even before sunrise, you'll set off for the Namib-Naukluft National Park to experience the famous Sossusvlei dunes bathed in the enchanting light of the early morning. As the sun slowly rises over the horizon, the landscape transforms into a spectacular interplay of light and shadow—a paradise for photography and nature lovers. You'll hike through the captivating dune landscape to the surreal Dead Vlei, where centuries-old, dead acacia trees rise like silent sculptures from the parched clay soil. Those who wish can also climb the dune ridge; with a bit of stamina, you can reach the top of "Big Daddy," one of the tallest dunes in the world, reaching approximately 350 meters. A picnic breakfast at the foot of the dunes completes this unforgettable experience.

In the afternoon, you'll reach charming Swakopmund on the Atlantic coast. It's a city full of contrasts, characterized by colonial architecture, fresh sea breezes, and Namibian lifestyle. During a short introductory city tour, you'll discover some of the historic buildings, such as the Rhenish Mission Church, the imposing Hohenzollern House, the former courthouse, and the historic landing stage, which now houses a popular restaurant. Afterward, you'll have time to explore on your own as Swakopmund offers glimpses into its past at almost every turn. Small cafes, galleries, and souvenir shops invite you to linger.

Today you continue your journey north to a comfortable lodge on the edge of Etosha National Park, one of Africa's most famous wildlife reserves. The drive takes you through diverse landscapes, past small villages and open savannahs. In the afternoon, you will arrive at your accommodation, where you will receive a warm welcome. After checking in, you will have time to relax – enjoy the panoramic views or take a dip in the pool. The day concludes with a cozy campfire under the African stars, providing a perfect prelude to your upcoming safari adventures in Etosha.
On the Trail of Wildlife in an Open Vehicle in Etosha National Park
Today you'll embark on a full-day game drive in an open vehicle through the renowned Etosha National Park. The name "Etosha" means "great white place," referring to the vast salt pan that forms the heart of the park, surrounded by expansive savannah and bushland. Thanks to the open vegetation, there are excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing: With a bit of luck, you'll spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, oryx, and perhaps even lions or leopards, which are often seen at the numerous waterholes. Your experienced guide knows the best wildlife viewing areas and, with a keen sense of observation and expertise, will bring you up close to nature, always maintaining the necessary respect and distance. Safari from West to Wild East across Etosha National Park
Today promises another exciting day in Etosha National Park. You'll travel through the park from west to east in a tour vehicle, embarking on a varied drive with numerous stops at waterholes and countless fascinating wildlife sightings. There's a good chance of spotting herds of elephants, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes, and perhaps even big cats. The landscape changes noticeably as you journey through the park, from open savannah to denser bushland, as each region has its own unique character and its own animal inhabitants.
In the afternoon, you'll exit the park through the eastern Lindequist Gate and continue towards Tsumeb. You can relax and unwind at your hotel for the rest of the day.
Culture and Nature in Interplay
In the morning, you will visit a cultural village of the Khwe tribe, which will vividly illustrate the traditional way of life of this San community. Here, you will gain fascinating insights into their prehistoric lives as hunter-gatherers. The indigenous people of Namibia will demonstrate their ancient craft techniques with great enthusiasm and pride, share stories of their ancestors, dance to traditional rhythms, and allow you to see, hear, smell, and feel history. An authentic portrayal of their pre-colonial culture is of paramount importance to them.
Afterward, your journey continues to the verdant Zambezi Strip. The landscape changes noticeably: instead of dry savannah, tall trees, dense forests, and lush vegetation suddenly dominate. Today begins with a relaxing boat trip on the Okavango River (called the Kavango in Namibia), one of the largest rivers in southern Africa and the lifeblood of the Zambezi Region. Glide silently across the water, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere as the lush riverside vegetation is reflected in the water. With a bit of luck, you might spot water birds, crocodiles, or hippos leisurely basking on the riverbanks.
In the afternoon, a new adventure awaits: a game drive in an open off-road vehicle in Mahangu National Park, one of Namibia's wildest and most pristine parks. In this diverse landscape of open plains, rivers, and palm groves, you might encounter elephants, buffalo, antelope, and perhaps even leopards or wild dogs. Enjoy a day full of contrasts, from the tranquil waters to the vibrant wilderness.

Unfortunately, today we say goodbye to the fascinating Zambezi Region. But the journey continues to the point where Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, and Zimbabwe meet.
After crossing the border into Botswana, you will reach your lodge on the Chobe River, which blends beautifully into the surrounding nature. The tranquility of the river and the expansive grounds immediately invite you to relax. In the afternoon, a special experience awaits you: "Cast off!" for a safari boat trip on the Chobe River. As you glide across the water, you might be lucky enough to enjoy close encounters with wildlife. Whether elephants, buffalo, crocodiles, or hippos, the animals frequently come to the riverbanks and are particularly active at dusk. With a cool gin and tonic in hand and a view of the gently flowing waters, this moment will become an unforgettable experience. The evening concludes at the lodge with a delicious dinner, while you listen to the smacking sounds of the hippos and the distinctive cry of the sea eagle.
Off-Road Safari in Chobe & Visit to Victoria Falls
Today begins with an exciting game drive in an open 4x4 vehicle through Chobe National Park, a true paradise for wildlife. Chobe is famous for its huge herds of elephants, which are often seen along the riverbanks. Buffalo, prides of lions, and, with a bit of luck, rare animals such as wild dogs or sable oryx also call this place home. Your guide knows the best spots to observe and photograph the animals in their natural habitat.
After the exhilarating safari, we follow the roar of the water and the spray already visible in the distance – a first glimpse of Victoria Falls, which await us later in the day. After crossing the border into Zimbabwe, we arrive at our privately run lodge, where we can check in and fortify ourselves for the afternoon. We then immediately head to Victoria Falls National Park, where we experience the legendary Victoria Falls in all their glory, just a few meters away. The thundering water plunges into the depths with incredible force. Enjoy the spectacular sight, which will remain in your memory and underline the majestic charm of this natural wonder.

Today is yours to enjoy as you wish! Choose from a variety of options to make the most of your time in this breathtaking location. Perhaps you'd like to start the day with a helicopter tour over the stunning Victoria Falls. The legendary "Flight of the Angels" offers a unique perspective of this natural wonder, making the waterfall appear even more majestic from a bird's-eye view. Alternatively, you can stroll through the craft market to pick up some last-minute souvenirs and discover local artwork.
