On arrival into Jomo Kenyatta Airport, please clear customs and immigration and collect your luggage. You will be warmly welcomed in the arrivals hall and assisted to the vehicle. Road transfer to your hotel in Nairobi where the rest of the day is free to rest and recover after your long flight.

This morning after breakfast, check out and transfer with private driver to Wilson Airport. Here, you will be assisted to the scheduled flight to Samburu.
On arrival into Samburu Airstrip you will transfer to your camp set on the banks of Ewaso Nyiro River in the Samburu National reserve. Enjoy the next three nights at Elephant Bedroom Camp with all meals included.
During your stay enjoy private game drives in Samburu National Park.

After breakfast and morning safari, it's time to head to the airstrip for your onward scheduled flight to Masai Mara's Musiara Airstrip.

After breakfast, you'll check out and road transfer to your next camp in the Mara North Conservancy. Kicheche Mara Camp is a small intimate luxury tented camp situated in a prime wildlife area overlook the Olare Orok stream and western escarpment of the Valley. On arrival, game drive to camp and spend a glorious three nights here photographing the landscapes and wildlife famous in the Mara.

After your morning safari activity and breakfast it's time to transfer to the airstrip.
On arrival board your scheduled flight to Wilson Airport, Nairobi. On arrival you will be met and transferred by private vehicle to Jomo Kenyatta Airport. Catch the regional flight to Kigali (flight not included in land fare).

On arrival into Kigali Airport, please clear customs and immigration and collect your luggage. You will be warmly welcomed in the arrivals hall and assisted to the vehicle. Private road transfer to your hotel in Kigali. On arrival check in and spend one night at Hote des Mille Collines inclusive of dinner and breakfast.
After breakfast and check out, your guide will take you for a Kigali city tour experience, including a visit to the Genocide Memorial Centre. Following your city tour, you will be transferred to Volcanoes National Park. This afternoon visit the Iby'lwacu traditional village and evening is at leisure to rest and relax in preparation for your exciting Gorilla Trek tomorrow. Spend the next two nights at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge with all meals included.
This morning, wake early and enjoy a substantial breakfast before heading off at the agreed time with your guide to the Ranger's office in Volcanoes National Park.
We recommend you take a small backpack with water, snacks, camera, garden gloves and waterproof jacket.
Please note: Along the way, it is important to communicate with your guide what style of hike you prefer - short, medium or challenging. Your guide will then liaise with the national park team and negotiate you into the most relevant group. It is essential that you let your driver/guide know your preferences before you arrive at the Ranger's office.
After a safety briefing and climbing team allocations, you'll head off with your guide to the starting point of the trek.
We also highly recommend hiring a porter.
Enjoy the trek through fields, over the park fence and through rainforest in search of the gorilla family you've been allocated. You have 1 hour with the group and remember your bag will be left with the porters, only take your camera. This is for the safety of the group and gorillas.
Descend back down the mountain and meet your guide where he dropped you off. You'll drive to the information centre and it's here you get to collect your trek certificate before returning to the lodge.
Evening at leisure.
Today you will enjoy a second gorilla trek with another gorilla group.
Following lunch your guide will drive you by road to Hotel des Mille Collines where you will spend your last night on with dinner and breakfast included.
After breakfast it's time to bid goodbye and head with your guide to the international airport in time for your onward international flights out.
