LWC 2026 - Storms River Self Drive (3 Star)

Self Drive Tour

You pick up your hire car at 08h00 from the Europcar kiosk at Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) Airport - Toyota Urban Cruiser or similar - and then drive 170km westwards via Humansdorp to Storms River.  En route there would be options to visit Jeffreys Bay, South Africa's surf mecca, the Storms River Mouth, in  a marine reserve offering magnificent scenery, walks, a small beach, restaurant and shop and the famous Storms River Suspension Bridge which spans the river mouth. Another option would be the bungy jump site just pass Storms River at Bloukraans Bridge.  Lunch is taken en-route for your own expense and check in at your overnight accommodation is from 14h00.  In the afternoon there is a one hour Segway tour which is included. 

Dinner is for your own expense and taken in the hotel restaurant.

Accommodation: Tsitsikamma Village Inn  or similar

Breakfast is included and then you 'take to the air' on the Tsitsikamma Canopy Tour -  two to three hours including 10 ziplines launching from raised platforms through the ancient yellow wood forests in the area.  The scenery and birdlife are spectacular and professional guides ensure your safety while keeping you informed about interesting features of the forest ecology.

Check out from the accommodation by 10h00 (the lodge will store your luggage if needed) and then make your way back to the  Europcar kiosk at Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) Airport  where the vehicle needs to be returned by 17h00. Tour services end at Port Elizabeth Airport with the return of the vehicle.
