Day 1: Sossusvlei

The tour will start towards south-west to reach the Namib desert. Its dunes, the tallest in the world, at sunrise take on magic colors.

Day 2: Sossusvlei

You will wake up at dawn to visit the tallest dunes in the world that at sunrise take on magic colors. In the afternoon, if you want to, you can join one of the several activities offered by the lodge.

Day 3: Swakopmund

Today you will reach  Swakopmund, a coastal town founded by German coloners in 1892, marked out by a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere that turned it into the main holiday destination of Namibia.  The streets are still named after the old historic characters of Swakopmund. The most popular historic buildings are Woermann House, the old railway station, Alte Kaserne (Old Fort) and the Justice Court. 

Day 4: Swakopmund

Day 5: Twyfelfontein

Today you will have the opportunity to explore Twyfelfontein, the historic site which became part of the World Unesco Heritage in 2007. You will see the old bushmen rockart sites. The Burnt Mountain, the Organ Pipes and the Petrified Forest are the other attractions to be found nearby.

Day 6: Opuwo

Your trip today will take you north, driving by Palmwag, and you will finally arrive into  Kaokoland, the Himba's homeland. This tribe is still living according to its ancient traditions, ignoring the western influence.  In this area you will enjoy a breathtaking landscape. You will stop at Opuwo, that in the Herero language means “ the end”.

Day 7: Etosha West

Today you will drive south to reach the beautiful private reserve of  Hobatere, bordering the  world renown  Etosha National park.

Day 8: South Etosha

You will continue exploring the Etosha National Park where you will discover the wonderful world of animals. 

Day 9: Est Etosha

Today you can spend some more time to watch the wide range of game populating the Etosha National Park, then you will move east and exit from the Von Lindequist Gate. You will notice how dramatically the landscape changes during this transfer.

Day 10: Rundu

Today you will drive towards north to reach the Zambesi West, passing by Tsumeb and Grootfontein to finally reach  Rundu where you will be accomodated in a lodge by the Okavango river. 

Day 11: Nkasa Rupara National Park

Today you will move along the Zambesi stripe ( once known as Caprivi). You will drive through the Bwabwata National Park, the Kongola village which lies inside the Mudumu Park and you will finally meet the Nkasa Lupala Tented Lodge staff, rising on one of the waterways that this heaven on earth is made of.  The florae and the faunae of this area are really similar to the ones of the Okavango  Delta. 

Day 12: Nkasa Rupara National Park

You will spend the day admiring the beauty of the Nkasa Lupala Park( known as Mamili) a real heaven on earth, full of game and wildlife, that reminds more of Botswana than of the Namibia that you have seen so far.

Day 13: Chobe River Front Namibia

Today you will leave Namibia to enter Botswana, where you will have the opportunity to explore the beautiful  Chobe park, full of game and wildlife.

Day 14: Chobe River Front Namibia

You will spend the day exploring this beautiful area full of wildlife and game.

Day 15: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

In the morningtime, before entering Zimbabwe, you will go for a game drive inside the Chobe Park. In the afternoon you will see the famous Victoria Falls.

Day 16: End of Itinerary

You will be transferred to the airport in time for your return flight
