Welcome to Budapest!

Arrive at Budapest Airport and make your way to the hotel. After some free time to settle in and get acclimated, meet your guide at the hotel for an orientation. Wrap up the day with a delightful 3-course welcome dinner, introducing you to the local cuisine.

Day 2: Budapest

Exploring Pest's Landmarks! 

After breakfast, embark on a morning tour of Pest. Visit the stunning St. Stephen's Basilica and its lookout balcony, stroll through Liberty Square, and reach the Parliament building. Walk along the Danube River to the shoes on the Danube Bank memorial, and enjoy a tram ride to the Great Market. The afternoon is free for leisure with recommendations provided for dining and activities, should you wish to explore further (at your own cost). Later, enjoy a scenic cruise on the Danube River.

Day 3: Budapest

Historical Sites and Cultural Experiences!

Start with a guided tour through Pest, beginning with a subway ride to Heroes' Square. Discover the city park, Vajdahunyad Castle, and more. Stop for coffee and cake, then walk though the Jewish district to see the Great Synagogue. The afternoon is open for leisure, with an array of recommended dining and activity options available if desired (at your own cost).

The Castle District of Buda!

Begin your day with a journey to the Castle District of Buda, where you'll tour the former Royal Castle, Matthias Church, and enjoy panoramic city views from the Fisherman's Bastion. Conclude the day by participating in a Hungarian cooking class to savor authentic local dishes. Afternoon options for dining and entertainment will be suggested to those wishing to explore more (at your own cost).

Day 5: Budapest

Charming Szentendre!

Let us venture beyond the borders of Budapest to explore Szentendre, a picturesque 18th-century village 30-40 minutes away from the capital. Known as the "gate" to the Danube Bend region, this charming town is rich in Baroque architecture, art galleries, and traditional Hungarian handicrafts. 

During this 4-hour excursion, enjoy the unique blend of Hungarian history and Mediterranean flair that Szentendre offers. 

A highlight of the visit is the renowned Margit Kovács ceramic collection, showcasing the artistry of this celebrated Hungarian artist. Upon returning to Budapest, guests have the remainder of the afternoon free to explore the city further. A curated list of optional dining spots and activities will be provided for those interested in continuing their discovery (at their own cost).

Hungarian Wine Tasting in Etyekz!

Start your morning with a delightful breakfast at the hotel, then meet your guide in the lobby for an exciting exploration of the Etyekz wine region. After a scenic transfer, enjoy five hours visiting local wine-makers, sampling their signature wines, and indulging in delicious snacks, including traditional local ham. 

Following this enriching experience, you'll return to the hotel for an afternoon at your leisure, with various options provided to suit your interests (at your own cost). In the evening, gather for a memorable 3-course farewell dinner at a charming local restaurant, conveniently located within walking distance from the hotel, allowing you to savor the flavors of the region one last time.
