SF022-9 Day Vic Falls, Hwange & Chobe

Upon your arrival at the airport you will be met by your driver and taken through to your lodge for the next three nights, Victoria Falls Safari Suites.

Ideal for families and small close–knit groups who seek stylish comfort, privacy and space, the two and three-bedroom sunset-facing Safari Suites are set in a natural bush environment on the edge of Zambezi National Park, and just 4 kilometers from Victoria Falls.

After settling in you will venture out on a sunset river cruise on the Zambezi River and return to your lodge for the evening.

This morning you start the day with a guided tour of the Victoria Falls.  Following on this we venture out on a Crocodile Farm tour before returning to our lodge for lunch. In the late afternoon you will enjoy a birds eye view of the falls when taking a 15 - 20min helicopter flight over the falls.

This morning is spent exploring the gorge hanging from a wire, as you partake in the famous canopy tour.  The rest of the day is at leisure to explore Victoria Falls, partake in any additional optional activities or just relax and enjoy the facilities of the lodge.

After breakfast you will be met by your transfer driver who will take you by road to Hwange National Park your destination for the next three nights.  The drive is approximately 2 and a half hours to Hwange Main Camp where you will meet the Somalisa Guide who will continue with you to the camp.

Hwange National Park is a land of contrasts from dense teak and acacia forest to vast open savannah, offering guests an exhibition of raw and diverse Africa. Somalisa Camp is a place where tranquillity meets adventure. Where one moment you are sipping on your gin and tonic, listening to the distant baritone roar of a lion coalition off on the hunt, and the next you are gazing over at a congregation of elephants at your doorstep, peacefully sharing a sundowner with you.

Explore Hwange National Park through a variety of activities while you stay at Somalisa Camp. Activities include walking safaris, led by our qualified and passionate guides who will share their knowledge and love of the bush with you, game drives and cultural visits.

Another full day to enjoy the activities on offer or just relax at the lodge.

After breakfast you will be collected for your transfer to Cresta Mowana Safari Resort & Spa, Kasane, Botswana.  The drive is approximately 4 and a half hours, depending on the road conditions, how busy the border crossing will be and how often we stop.

Cresta Mowana lies on the banks of the Chobe river, where four African countries (Botswana, Zambia, Namibia and Zimbabwe) meet. At this point the Chobe and Zambezi rivers converge – the Zambezi river being the home of the NyamiNyami (or river god). So if you want to learn more about African myths and legends, the Chobe area around the Cresta Mowana is the place to visit!

Today we explore the bounty of Chobe National Park on a game drive, followed by some leisure time at the lodge, before venturing out on a sunset cruise on the Chobe River.

We venture out on one last game drive into Chobe National Park, before returning to the lodge for breakfast. Checking out after breakfast you will be met by your driver who will take you through to Kasane Airport for your onward travel arrangements.
