Upon your arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Cape Town

After breakfast, your guide will meet you and take you to Table Mountain.

Since the first person laid eyes on Table Mountain in Cape Town it has exerted its powerful and charismatic pull, enchanting and drawing any and all who fall under its spell. Take the Cable Car to the Top to experience it for yourself.

Proceed to the Cape Townships

Cape township tour takes visitors into the massive informal settlements on the outskirts of the city center of Cape Town. These settlements (the largest and oldest of which are Langa, Gugulethu, and Khayelitsha) have millions of homes that vary from brick and mortar to wood and corrugated iron. But, they are more than just neighbourhoods. There are schools, spaza shops, shebeens (taverns), cafes, hair salons, and plenty more.

Visiting the township on a guided township tour invites visitors into this fascinating world. The knowledgeable guide will share information on the history of the areas, how they developed during the apartheid regime, and how they have evolved and grown over the recent generations.

Day 3: Cape Town

Start your your morning with a great breakfast before you will be transferred to Stellenbosch. (no guide as you will have a guide while on  your walking tour)

At 10:00 you will join the Foodies on Foot Tour which is a walking and tasting (wine and food) tour of Stellenbosch

Exploring the heart of the town, we stop for a variety of sweet and savory tastings as well as a sit-down lunch. The focus is on sustainable practices which are used to create fresh products. The lunch platter is always packed with seasonal, locally sourced produce.  Whilst enjoying award-winning gin, enjoy the energy of small town life before being taken on a taste adventure paired with craft beer.

In addition to its international wine reputation, Stellenbosch is also home to curated, public art exhibitions. Your guide will give you an insider’s perspective on the fascinating art works that dot the historic streets. Feast on a lunch platter filled with locally sourced goodies, sample unique handcrafted beer with flavourful snacks, Try top-quality cured beef (biltong) snacks, indulge in an award-winning gin tasting at an award-winning local restaurant, sip a liquid ‘dessert’ at an innovative coffee laboratory paired with a decadent sweet treat, discover outdoor art and inspiring artists.  Best part of this day is meeting the locals.

Day 4: Cape Town

Depart your hotel, with your guide, after breakfast and head to the coastal town of Hermanus.

You have heard about the Big 5, well we will show you number 6.  The whales!! Enjoy a Whale cruise.

Hermanus is particularly famous for its sightings of Southern Right Whales. These massive marine mammals visit the waters around Hermanus between June and December each year to mate, give birth, and nurse their calves. The boat tours offer the opportunity to see these magnificent creatures up close and learn more about their behavior and habitat from knowledgeable guides.

Followed by this breath-taking experience, you will head to the Creation Wine Estate for a Wine pairing lunch.

Creation Wines is a well-known and esteemed wine estate located in the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge area near Hermanus, South Africa. The estate is renowned for its premium wines and innovative culinary experiences.

Their Wines - Creation Wines is recognized for producing a range of award-winning wines. They focus on creating elegant and expressive wines that showcase the characteristics of the terroir. Day 5: Cape Town

Depart your hotel after breakfast with your driver only and head to the Bo Kaap Area.

At 10:30 you will arrive at the renowned Bo-Kaap with its colourful houses.  Here you will be met for your Cape Malay Cooking Class.  Enjoy a short historical walk of the Bo-Kaap learning about the culture and heritage while you pick your spices. 

Enjoy your voyage into the life, food and culture of the Cape Malay's in Bo-Kaap whilst they offer you a hands-on, practical lesson on how to cook like a real Cape Malay 'Auntie'!  Learn how to make a variety of Cape Malay favourites and how to mix Masala for that perfect pot of Cape Malay Curry!

Day 6: Cape Town

Today, after breakfast, your guide will collect you for your winelands tour exploring Franschhoek and Paarl regions.

Your first stop will be at Vrede en Lust,  which is known for its stunning landscapes, vineyards, and historic charm. The estate dates back to 1688 when it was granted to French Huguenot Jacques de Savoye. The name "Vrede en Lust" translates to "Peace and Delight" in Dutch.

You will also visit Rickety Bridge. The estate's history dates back to the 17th century, and it has changed hands over the years. The name "Rickety Bridge" is said to originate from a bridge that once spanned the Franschhoek River, known for its rickety nature. The estate's heritage is reflected in its blend of traditional and modern winemaking practices. The estate's vineyards are planted with varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, and more. The winemaking team focuses on creating wines that reflect the terroir and showcase the unique characteristics of each grape variety.

Day 7: Cape Town

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the V&A Waterfront for some leisure time and shopping,  When you are ready you will be able to enjoy a visit to Green Market Square.

Greenmarket Square is a historic square located in the heart of Cape Town, South Africa. It has a rich history and is known for its vibrant atmosphere, diverse markets, and colonial architecture. Greenmarket Square dates back to the 17th century when it was originally used as a market area for trading produce and goods. It has undergone various transformations over the centuries and has served as a focal point for trade and commerce in Cape Town. The square was named after the "Green Market," a produce market that was once held there.  One of the highlights of Greenmarket Square is its bustling open-air market. The market is known for its vibrant and diverse selection of crafts, artworks, textiles, jewelry, clothing, and souvenirs. It's a popular spot for both locals and tourists to shop for unique and handcrafted items. The market creates a lively and colorful atmosphere, offering visitors a chance to interact with local artisans and vendors.

Later this afternoon, you will be collected for your return dinner transfer to the Gold Restaurant.  Dinner is included

Time to bid South Africa farewell.

We hope that you enjoyed your time with us.  After breakfast, you will be collected and transferred to Cape Town International Airport. 

Tour ending at Cape Town airport at 14.00  pm or by agreement.
