Sample Porini Safari and Diani Beach

Day 1: Nairobi National Park

Pick up from Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer to Nairobi Tented Camp. Relax in your tent before later taking an afternoon game drive, returning for a sundowner and dinner.

Day 2: Selenkay Conservancy

Check out after breakfast and transfer to Wilson Airport for the  charter flight to Selenkay Airstrip. Met on arrival and transfer by 4x4 vehicle to Porini Amboseli Camp. Check in to camp and go for a morning village visit to a local Maasai Village where you can meet the villagers and learn about their customs and way of life. Return to camp for lunch. Later take an afternoon game drive in the conservancy and return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Selenkay Conservancy

Depart for Amboseli National Park after an early morning breakfast. Spend a full day game viewing in the national park with a picnic lunch. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Check out early morning and take your flight back to Wilson to connect to a flight to Nanyuki airstrip. Met on arrival and transfer by 4x4 vehicle to Porini Rhino Camp. Check in to camp and have lunch.

Day 5: Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Enjoy game drives viewing the best of Ol Pejeta Conservancy (with a good chance of seeing wild dogs). A visit is also made to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary.

Day 6: Olare Motorogi Conservancy

After breakfast check out and transfer to the airstrip for the scheduled flight to Ol Kiombo (Mara). Met on arrival and transfer by 4x4 vehicle to Porini Lion Camp (game drive en route). Check in to camp and have lunch.

Day 7: Olare Motorogi Conservancy

After breakfast at camp we head into the Masai Mara National Reserve for a day of game-viewing. Return to camp in the late afternoon, after a picnic lunch in the Reserve. Later, head out on an evening game drive within Olare Motorogi Conservancy - stopping at a viewpoint for a sundowner. Continue on a night game drive looking for nocturnal animals. Dinner and overnight at Porini Lion Camp.

The Masai Mara National Game Reserve is a magnificent landscape of open plains bisected by the Mara River and its tributaries and punctuated by marshes and forests. This reserve supports the highest density of game to be seen anywhere considering its size. During the seasonal migrations, the reserve is home to up to a million wildebeest and an equally impressive number of zebra that move into the area from the neighbouring Serengeti National Park, in Tanzania. The reserve is home to all the “Big Five” and it is also possible to observe; baboon, eland, ostrich, bat-eared fox, jackal, and the rivers abound with hippos and crocodiles.

Day 8: Galu Beach

After breakfast check out and transfer to the Airstrip to board your scheduled flight to the Ukunda airstrip in Diani. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Pinewood Beach Resort and Spa (half board) and enjoy a 5 night stay on the coast south of Diani.

Day 9: Galu Beach

Take some days to relax and unwind, and others to enjoy some of the coast’s fun activities that include scuba diving, snorkelling, micro lighting and various others. Diani is one of the most beautiful beaches on the planet. Mix in with the local people and drink “madafu” (coconut water) straight out of the palms.

Enjoy your last day on the coast by taking a moment to relax and walk on the beach. You will be transferred to the airstrip for your afternoon flight back to Nairobi, where you will be met and transferred to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home.
