Welcome to Namibia! After your arrival in Windhoek, you will be greeted by our local representative. We will answer questions, exchange money together and assist you to your transfer vehicle. You will then drive to your nearby lodge, where you will not only have the opportunity to recover from your journey, but will also get your first impressions of the country's beauty and the diversity of its wildlife.

Enjoy a hearty breakfast early in the morning before continuing on to Windhoek airport for your scenic flight to Sossusvlei. After your arrival, enjoy the spectacular landscape that surrounds your desert lodge. During your stay, you have the opportunity to visit the highest dune, Big Daddy, and Deadvlei, the most famous viewpoints in this region. Optionally and depending on what your accommodation offers, you can book a guided tour.

Today continue towards the coast of Namibia and the charming port town of Swakopmund. Founded in 1892, it was considered the most important German port in South West Africa. Swakopmund offers many German pubs, cafes, bakeries and restaurants, a beautiful promenade for walking, an aquarium and is the perfect starting point for exploring Walvis Bay and Cape Cross. Enjoy walking the city sights on your own and explore the coastal desert, habitat for fascinating desert dwellers. Breathtaking views from the desert dunes round off the unique experience.

Today you fly from Swakopmund to your next desert destination.  In 2007, Twyfelfontein was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Other famous sights in the area are the petrified forest with around 250-million-year-old (fossil) trees and the "organ pipes", a volcanic massif made up of vertical basalt columns. Depending on offers at your lodge, enjoy the adventurous opportunity to track down desert elephants with a certified ranger.

Keep your camera and binoculars ready for your 4x4 safari over the next few days. Enjoy close-up wildlife viewing. At sunset, you'll not only experience the mesmerizing beauty of the bush but also the awakening of the nocturnal wildlife that calls this area home. You'll return to your lodge in time for dinner.
