You will be met at the Victoria Falls Airport by your driver and private cars and taken to the Victoria Falls Safari Club to drop off your luggage and freshen up before enjoying sundowners on the Zambezi River. It is usually about 16h00, and you set off on the cruise at about 16h30/16h45. Complimentary drinks and snacks will be served during the cruise.

Dedicated to exploration, the day will start with a morning guided tour of the famous Victoria Falls, 'discovered' by David Livingstone in 1855 and classified as the largest waterfall in the world.
This tour is arranged by Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, so they will let you know what time your transfer to the Falls entrance will be. You will need to pay the Rainforest entrance fee of US$30 per person in cash, so please have this with you.
Upon emerging from the mist, you will spend the rest of the morning at your own leisure and lunch is to your own account.
At approximately 14h00, you'll be collected from the Lodge for an afternoon Rhino Search on The Victoria Falls Private Reserve. During the drive, you may see the ‘Big 5’ along with a great variety of antelope and exceptional bird‐life. Open four‐wheel drive vehicles will take you on a safari along the shores of a scenic lake and through basalt plains into teak forests. The Victoria Falls Private Game Reserve offers a great opportunity to see the rare and endangered Black Rhino.
Black Rhino, as you are aware, are highly endangered and rare however, with the increased population of these animals on the Private Game Reserve combined with skilled guiding and tracking experts, there is a strong likelihood of encountering these animals. Refreshments, water and light snacks will be served on the drive.
Back at the Lodge, a talk on David Livingstone by our expert professional guide Clive, will be enjoyed during sundowner drinks. Dinner tonight is to your own account.

Tips
The day will start with you being collected from Victoria falls Safari Lodge at 06h00. Our bird specialist, (also the Founder of the Victoria Falls Anti Poaching unit), will take you on a morning of bird watching, followed by a delicious breakfast in the Park. You will be required to pay the Park entrance fee of US$15 per person direct in cash. Please have this to hand.
When you get back to the Lodge, Charles will do an in-depth power-point presentation on how conservation in the Victoria Falls National Park and surrounding areas is being addressed
Experience a 'Vulture Culture' lunch and spend the rest of the day at your own leisure. (See below for more information on this lunch)
Dinner will be at "The Boma",a traditional place of eating where you will get the full African dining experience. Victoria Falls Safari Lodge will arrange the necessary transfers.
Get a unique perspective on vulture behaviour in front of the lodge during a daily feeding experience.
Staff put out leftover raw meat from the kitchen in front of the lodge and the vultures in the area are able to swoop down and grab the scraps. This meat supplements their usual diet, as there is not always enough natural food in the bush for them to forage.
Vulture restaurants, as they are called, are an important part of conserving dwindling vulture populations in the area. 8 of Africa’s 11 vulture species have declined at an average of 62% across all regions over the past 30 years. Power lines, loss of food supply, direct poisoning, veterinary drugs from treating animals, traditional medicine and direct persecution are listed as some of the reasons for the vultures declines.
The feeding program also allows the threatened vulture numbers to be monitored by scientists with data collection and population counts.
Watch these remarkable scavengers swoop down, grab morsels of food, and take flight again, hopefully with a better chance of surviving in the future.
The Boma restaurant is great fun and you can have your fortune told by a witch doctor and experience many local foods (there are also excellent western dishes on offer), and take part in a drumming session.
