Upon arrival at Kigali Airport and disembarking from the aircraft you will be met by a representative who will assist to clear customs and immigration formalities and proceed to the arrivals lounge. Thereafter, you will be transferred to your hotel.



After breakfast at your hotel, you will depart for the Volcanoes with a city tour en route. Learn about Rwanda’s history from pre-colonial times to 1994 genocide and how Rwanda has dealt with that past. You will continue with your tour and see the new developments in Rwanda; the recovery has been incredible, a testament to humankind’s resilience. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure



Today you will set off early after breakfast for the park headquarters where you will register for the gorilla trekking. Once you`ve been assigned a group and have had a briefing from your guide you will be driven to the trailhead where you will start the walk. Your trek will take anywhere from an hour to five hours to reach the gorillas - depending on which group you`ve been assigned. The terrain changes from farmland to bamboo forests, into stinging nettles and rainforest before you will find the gorillas. Trackers leave before the tourist groups to locate the gorilla groups so your guide should know where to take you, and once you`ve found the group you will have one hour with them. Make sure you take plenty of extra film as you`ll be surprised at how many photos you will want to take!



On arrival at Kigali International Airport from Volcanoes National Park, you will catch your scheduled flight to Manyara National Park.
On arrival at Manyara airstrip, you will be met by your lodge driver guide who will transfer you to your lodge with a game drive en route. The park’s inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree climbing lions, flamingos and other variety of birdlife.






Maasai Village Visit (Additional Cost)
After breakfast at your lodge, you will be transferred to Manyara Airstrip for your scheduled flight departing for the northern plains of the Serengeti.
On arrival at Lobo Airstrip, you will be met by your camp driver guide who will transfer you to your camp arriving in time for lunch. Serengeti National Park supports every variety of animal imaginable - from large predators such as lion, leopard and cheetah to the smaller herbivores they prey on.



After breakfast at your camp, you will collect picnic lunches before you are transferred to the airstrip to catch your scheduled to Zanzibar (via Arusha).
On arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will be met by your driver guide who will assist with your transfer to your resort. Mnemba Island boat will pick you and transfer you the lodge.
