Kenya & Tanzania Safari II

Day notes

As you descend the aircraft steps on arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on flight TBA you will be met by a representative, who will be holding a board with your name on it. You will then be shown to your private transfer vehicle, which will take you to the Arrivals Terminal. Here you will be assisted on a Fast Track basis with immigration, health, customs and baggage collection procedures.

Once you have completed the immigration and customs procedures, you will be escorted to your waiting dmAFRICA driver and vehicle, which will be transferring you to your overnight accommodation at the Ole Sereni Hotel, located a mere 10 minutes from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Overnight, you’ll be staying at the Ole Sereni on a room & breakfast basis in a deluxe room. (NOTE: As in all airports in the World, at times of heightened security, including visits by Heads of State etc., our Fast Track intentions may be adapted to suit the situation of the day).

This morning, after breakfast at the Ole Sereni, you will be transferred to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport to connect with the scheduled service flight to the Kichwa Airstrip in the Maasai Mara, departing at 10:00 and arriving into the Maasai Mara at 11:00 (NOTE: Luggage allowance is strictly 15 kilograms per person in soft sided bags).

On your landing into the Maasai Mara, you will be met by a vehicle and driver guide from the Angama Mara Lodge, which will be taking you out for an afternoon of game activities within the Maasai Mara National Park (NOTE: Game activities may be shared with other clients). Overnight, you’ll be staying at the Angama Mara Lodge on a full board basis in your luxury tented suite. This camp overlooks the renowned Mara Triangle!

You will be enjoying two full days of game activities at the Angama Mara Lodge in your Angama Mara 4x4 vehicle with driver guide. Overnight, you’ll be staying at Angama Mara in your luxury tented suite on a full board basis.

On one of the days at Angama Mara, you will be silently taking to the skies in a hot air balloon! Floating above the Mara plains with the wind guiding you on an exciting adventure as you gaze at the landscape and wildlife below!

You will be enjoying two full days of game activities at the Angama Mara Lodge in your Angama Mara 4x4 vehicle with driver guide. Overnight, you’ll be staying at Angama Mara in your luxury tented suite on a full board basis.

On one of the days at Angama Mara, you will be silently taking to the skies in a hot air balloon! Floating above the Mara plains with the wind guiding you on an exciting adventure as you gaze at the landscape and wildlife below!

After breakfast, you’ll be driven to the Kichwa Airstrip to connect with the scheduled service flight to the Migori Airstrip (NOTE: Luggage allowance is strictly 15 kilograms per person, in soft sided bags). From Migori, you will be met by a vehicle and driver from Coastal Aviation that will be transferring you to the Tarime border crossing, where you’ll complete the immigration procedures and cross into Tanzania. From the border crossing, you will then be transferred to the nearby Tarime Airstrip to connect with the scheduled service flight to the Kogatende Airstrip, departing at 13:50 and landing into Kogatende at approximately 15:20 (NOTE: This may fluctuate based on the number of stops that the aircraft is required to make).

On arrival at the Kogatende Airstrip, you will be met by your driver guide & private open sided 4x4 vehicle from Alex Walker's Serian Camp that will transfer you to the Serian Camp with game viewing en route.

In the afternoon, you’ll head out for game activities within the world famous Serengeti National Park in your private open sided 4x4 vehicle. Overnight, you’ll be staying at Alex Walker's Serian on a full board basis in your luxury safari tent.

The Northern Serengeti is dominated by large rocky outcrops called Kopje’s. These are perfect homes for prides of lion, leopard and even the occasional elephant that finds his way up there! At this time of year, you can expect to find the forerunners of the herds of the Great Migration in the Northern Serengeti.

Your will be enjoying three full days of game activities within the Serengeti National Park in your private open sided 4x4 vehicle. The Northern Serengeti is dominated by large rocky outcrops called Kopje’s. These are perfect homes for prides of lion, leopard and even the occasional elephant that finds his way up there! This morning, after breakfast at Alex Walker's Serian, you’ll be transferred in your open sided 4x4 to the Kogatende Airstrip to connect with the scheduled service flight to the Lake Manyara Airstrip, departing at 09:25 and landing into Lake Manyara at 11:25.

From the Lake Manyara Airstrip, your private dmAFRICA 4x4 vehicle will transfer you, heading to the lush Ngorongoro Highlands where you’ll be driven to Gibb’s Farm to relax or enjoy some of the optional activities offered, such as coffee plantation walks, forest hikes to the ‘Elephant caves’ and village visits. Overnight, you’ll be staying at Gibb’s Farm on a full board basis in your luxury farm cottage.

Day notes

After breakfast at Gibb’s Farm, you’ll be driven by road and head down into the world famous Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world! Here you shall be enjoying a half day safari, where you’ll have a great chance of seeing rhino, one of the ‘Big 5’. In the afternoon, you’ll return to Gibb’s Farm for your overnight arrangements in your luxury farm cottage.

This morning, you depart from Gibb’s Farm, heading back towards Lake Manyara in your private dmAFRICA 4x4 vehicle, which will be transferring you to the Chem Chem Concession and your overnight accommodation at the fantastic Little Chem Chem, where you shall be staying on a full board basis in a luxury safari tent!

In the afternoon, you'll be enjoying game activities in the private Chem Chem conservancy in your 4x4 vehicle with driver guide. It is also possible to enjoy night game drives & game walks.

Today you shall have a full day of game activities within the Chem Chem concession in your 4x4 vehicle with driver guide. Overnight you’ll be staying at Little Chem Chem on a full board basis in a luxury safari tent.

Day notes

You depart from Little Chem Chem this morning, heading by road to the Arusha Airport. From here, you will connect with your scheduled service flight to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport, departing at 12:45 and landing into Wilson Airport at 14:50. On arrival into Nairobi, you will again be provided with fast track VIP assistance, before being escorted to your private Giraffe Manor vehicle and driver guide who will drive you to the famous Giraffe Manor, for your overnight arrangements in your superior room on a full board basis.

You have a day room at your disposal in Nairobi today at the Ole Sereni Hotel, close to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Here you can relax, refresh and unwind before being transferred to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to connect with your flight on BA 064, departing at 23:00
