Day 1
Arrival in Livingstone
Arrival at the airport in Livingstone and transfer to our accommodation along the banks of the Zambezi River. The Zambezi National Park is on the opposite bank. There are numerous activities to choose from for this afternoon. Perhaps a visit to the local village with a guide or we could choose to explore the banks of the Zambezi in search of the unique birdlife in the area.

Victoria Waterfalls
Today, we visit the famous Victoria Falls, where huge masses of water cascade down a 110 metre drop across a 1700 metre-wide rock face. A breathtaking spectacle! Boat trips on the Zambezi and fishing trips are also offered here

Day 3
To Kafue National Park
Transfer to Livingstone airport and flight to Lusaka. Further transfer to Kafue National Park. On the way, the colourful hustle and bustle on the roadside passes us by. Mukambi Safari Lodge is centrally located in the park, right on the banks of the breathtaking Kafue River. Impalas, baboons, monkeys, elephants, hippos and even a small pride of lions roam the vicinity of the lodge.

Day 4 & 5
Kafue National Park
Kafue National Park is the oldest park in Zambia and also one of the most extensively protected areas in the world. The park offers a rich diversity of fauna and therefore, offers an abundant habitat for many animals. We continue to the luxurious Bush Camp, which is situated in a secluded part of the park. Predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards and hyenas are regular visitors here, as is the wild dog. The tented chalets stand on high platforms overlooking the Shishamba River. Various animals can be spotted at the lagoon in front of the boma where they come to quench their thirst.

Day 6
To South Luangwa National Park
The first part of our transfer today is in the form of a game drive. Afterward, we travel back to Lusaka through hilly bushveld. In the afternoon, we continue by plane to Mfuwe Lodge near the famous South Luangwa National Park. The lodge is hidden among ebony trees and large fig trees on the banks of a beautiful lagoon on the Luangwa River. We can keep an eye out for crocodile and hippo sightings from the private terrace of our chalet.

Day 7 - 9
South Luangwa National Park
The next three days will be filled with countless wildlife experiences. The South Luangwa National Park is home to an extensive and diverse wildlife population, including a large number of Thorneycroft giraffes, as well as large herds of elephant and buffalo. Each of the Bush Camps is set in beautiful surroundings and can accommodate a maximum of only eight guests. This means that your stay is uniquely tailored to your personal needs. We explore the spectacular wildlife of the park with a guide. The area is known for its rewarding excursions on foot. Game drives are also offered, especially at night.

Day 10
To the Lower Zambezi National Park
In the morning, we continue by plane to the Lower Zambezi National Park. The transfer to the lodge, which is situated in the midst of untouched nature on the banks of the species-rich Zambezi, also acts as our first game drive in the park. No matter where we stay in this camp, we will fully enjoy the prime location with its outstanding bird and animal life and the picturesque mountain scenery of the valley slope. Elephants and other animals often roam around the camp.

Day 11 & 12
Lower Zambezi National Park
The Lower Zambezi National Park is situated on the northern bank of the Zambezi River. The park and the Mana Pools National Park on the Zimbabwean side, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The area directly on the river is a seasonal floodplain with lush vegetation and is home to a variety of animals such as buffalo, elephants, lions and some antelope species. We experience all the wildlife up close here. A game drive is the best way to observe and photograph large predators such as lions. Canoeing or sunset boat trips also promise magical game viewing.

Day 13
National Capital Lusaka
We will pay a visit to the country's capital, Lusaka, again. Our hotel is located in the middle of the beautiful tree-lined avenues in the south-east of Lusaka, only 30 minutes from the airport.

Departure
Today, our Zambian adventure comes to an end and it is time to say goodbye to the beautiful country. Transfer to the airport in time for our flight and departure later on.
