After breakfast, leave on a 3 hour guided tour of Stone Town.
Stone Town City Tour offers visitors a tour following the trail of the sultans, slaves and explorers in the winding streets of Stone Town in Zanzibar. You will learn about events which shaped Zanzibar via a knowledgeable guide while walking through the buildings where it all happened. These historic buildings include the former Slave Market, the Anglican Cathedral, the House of Wonders, the Sultans’ Palace Museum, and the Old Arab Fort and Dispensary. You have the opportunity to explore the markets, and the residential areas. An optional stop is available to rest from the heat at The Zanzibar Coffee House, where you can enjoy a selection of drinks, local sweets and seasonal fruits. The tour is flexible and can be adapted according to your interests and time frame. You can also shop for antiques and souvenirs.
After lunch at a local restaurant in Stone Town, leave on an afternoon tour of a Spice Farm .
Spices and herbs were originally introduced to Zanzibar by Portuguese traders in the 16th century, brought from their colonies in South America and India. This tour is a walking tour in a spice farm. While there, you shall see how the spices, herbs and fruits grow and are cultivated.
You will be smelling and tasting spices, herbs and tropical fruits such as clove, lemongrass, nutmeg, cinnamon, turmeric, vanilla, coconuts, papaya, chili, black pepper, jackfruit, cardamom, cassava and oranges. The tour finishes with a stop at a spice stall selling fresh packaged spices (cash only).

After a late breakfast, transfer to Zanzibar Airport in time for your charter flight to Mafia Island.
On landing, you will be met and enjoy a short boat transfer to Thanda Private Island. The boat ride could entail having to wade in shallow water, so please dress appropriately.
Spend the next 5 nights enjoying the facilities and activities on offer on this paradise island.
