Early pick up from your hotel in Quito at 5:30 am, to begin your adventure at the northwest of Quito metropolitan District. You will visit Yanacocha Reserve to watch native species of hummingbirds, then you will head to the Nono-Mindo eco route, to carry on with birdwatching activities, and you will have a packed lunch. In the late afternoon, you will arrive at Tandayapa Bird Lodge, for dinner and rest.

Early beginning after breakfast to begin with birdwatching activities in the Milpe Bird Sanctuary with a packed lunch for the afternoon. There is also an optional visit to the Mirador Rio Blanco tanager feeders which costs, $3 extra per person). In the late afternoon return to Tandayapa Lodge for dinner and rest.

Most of the day birding Refugio Paz, including the Antpitta feeding station, with a packed lunch. There may be time for more birding at Milpe or in the Tandayapa Valley before returning to Quito in the afternoon, arriving at your hotel by around 6 pm.
