DAY 1

Welcome to the breathtaking Bordeaux region!

As our travelers are arriving from all corners of the globe, we ask that you make your own way to the hotel. The journey is easy—a taxi ride takes approximately 25 minutes (about 10 km).

6:30 pm -  this evening, we'll kick off our adventure with a Welcome Dinner, giving everyone the chance to meet, mingle, and get to know one another over great food and great company.

DAY 2

Good morning, Bordeaux!

Start your day with breakfast and your hotel.

After a day of travel, we're expecting everyone to be moving at a relaxed pace thanks to a little jet lag—so today is all about easing into the adventure.

Just a 10-minute stroll from our hotel, we'll visit Belles Grappes, Bordeaux's first 100% alcohol-free wine boutique, for a unique tasting workshop hosted by founder Anne. 

Our start time with Anne is 11 am

Sample seven exceptional alcohol-free wines—including a sparkling, white, rosé, and red selection—paired with delicious local cheeses and charcuterie. Along the way, you'll learn the art of wine tasting, discover how alcohol-free wines are crafted, and hear the fascinating stories behind the passionate winemakers who create them.

It's the perfect introduction to Bordeaux's world-famous wine culture in a fun, relaxed, and delicious setting!

The rest of the day is yours to putter and explore the quaint surroundings of Bordeaux.  If you would like to participate in a bit of a walking tour of Bordeaux after the wine tasting experience, rather than having free time, Alex Person will be with us!  As a local to the area, he has offered to show us around.  Except this mini walking tour to take roughly 2 hours!

DAY 3 

Good morning!

We hope the jet lag is behind you because today we're diving into another unforgettable adventure!

This morning, after an early breakfast, we'll take a scenic train ride to the charming town of Libourne.

Our scheduled train ride is at 9:00 am and our class starts at 10:00 am

Today, creativity and great wine come together!  Join local artist Elise Disclyn for a relaxing watercolor workshop while sipping a selection of premium alcohol-free Bordeaux wines, including sparkling, white, rosé, and red. You'll learn watercolor techniques, create your own masterpiece to take home, and enjoy a guided tasting throughout the experience.

Afterward, take some time to wander Libourne's picturesque streets, browse the local shops, and enjoy lunch at your leisure.

At 3:30 PM, we'll take an included 20-minute taxi ride to Château Clos de Boüard, where  Coralie welcomes us.  We will be sampling Prince Oscar and Eden wines and experiencing an exclusive behind-the-scenes vineyard experience. Expect this experience to take place from 4 - 6 pm

At roughly 6 pm we will start our journey back to the hotel (taxi transfer & train) expected to be back at 7:45 pm

DAY 4

By now, you've all had the pleasure of getting to know Alex Person—but today is something truly special!  This afternoon we will be visiting his family's vineyard.

8:15 am - Is our pick-up time.  Please ensure you have had breakfast and are ready to go.

First Stop - Domaine Mauperier (10am - 12)  Expect our bus trip to be 1 hour and 15 mins

Here we will meet  Ana & Thierry and learn what drove them to the creation of AFFRANCHI 0.0   As a parting gift we will all take a bottle of AFFRANCHI home with us.

Second Stop - Château Jalousie Beaulieu (1-5 pm)  Following our visit with Ana & Thierry we will take our transportation to Château Jalousie Beaulieu.  The ride between our stops is roughly 45 mins.  Here, Alex will welcome us to his family's beautiful vineyard for an unforgettable behind-the-scenes experience.  We'll be treated to a delicious vineyard lunch and some genuine French hospitality, hearing endless stories of passion behind the creation of their outstanding alcohol free wines.

This trip is only possible because of Alex's incredible connections and generosity, making this one of the most unique highlights of our journey.

At 5:00 pm  we will head back to our hotel

DAY 5

Rise and shine! It's an early start this morning as we say au revoir to Bordeaux and head south to the sun-soaked charm of Provence!

Since we'll be leaving before the hotel breakfast service begins, we've arranged a grab-and-go breakfast with a fresh pastry and a few tasty treats to keep you fueled on the way to the airport.

Your transfer from the hotel to Bordeaux Airport is included, where we'll catch our short domestic flight to Marseille.

Flight: 7:05 AM – 8:15 AM

Before you know it, we'll be breathing in that warm Provençal air!

Like most hotels, our rooms may not be ready when we arrive—but that's no reason to sit around! We'll leave our luggage safely with the front desk and head out to get our first taste of this beautiful region.

At 10:30 am ish - Once our bags are at the hotel, we will head to a famous alcohol-free bottle shop:  Les Caves Paralleles  (approximately a 10-min walk from the hotel )

Today is intentionally a light day. Think of it as your chance to settle in, sip a café, wander a local market, discover a cozy little square, and ease into the relaxed rhythm of Provence.

Tomorrow... the real Provençal adventure begins!

DAY 6

Today we climb aboard our private coach as we continue our exclusive behind-the-scenes journey into the exciting world of premium alcohol-free wines.

9:30 am - load the bus

First Stop - Maison Saint Aix (10:30 am - 12)

Next Stop - Château La Coste (2:30 - 5 pm)

DAY 7

The morning  is yours to enjoy at your own pace as you soak up the beauty, charm, and relaxed lifestyle of Provence.

This afternoon we will meet at the hotel at 1 pm and will taxi transfer (included)  to our final wine tasting.  We will arrive back at the hotel at 6 pm.

Breakfast at your hotel.  

Transfer on your own to Marseille airport for your international flight back home.
