Day 1: Cape Town

Day 1 – Welcome to Cape Town

Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, enjoy a VIP Meet & Greet and personalised assistance through the airport formalities.
You’ll be met by your private English-speaking guide for a comfortable transfer (approximately 30 minutes) to your hotel — the Cape Grace, A Fairmont Managed Hotel, a beloved landmark set on the vibrant V&A Waterfront.

Settle in and unwind as you take in the breathtaking views of Table Mountain and the yacht marina.
Lunch and dinner are at your leisure — explore the city’s world-class restaurants, from fine dining to fresh seaside fare.

Day 2: Cape Town

Day 2 – The Fairest Cape: Cape Point & Beyond

After breakfast, meet your guide for a Full-Day Cape Point Tour, tracing one of the most scenic coastal routes in the world.
Travel along the dramatic Atlantic Seaboard, passing the chic beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay before arriving in Hout Bay, a once-sleepy fishing village that now charms visitors with its working harbour and artisanal markets.

Continue through Chapman’s Peak Drive to the legendary Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, where rugged cliffs meet the endless ocean. This is the very spot where Sir Francis Drake once proclaimed it “the fairest Cape in all the circumference of the globe.”

Enjoy a leisurely lunch at Harbour House Restaurant overlooking the ocean (for own account), followed by a visit to the serene Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, home to more than 3,500 species of Southern African flora.

Day 3: Cape Town

Day 3 – Icons of Cape Town: Table Mountain & Robben Island

After breakfast, ascend the world-famous Table Mountain (weather permitting) for sweeping panoramic views of the city, ocean, and beyond.
Descend to explore Bo-Kaap, the city’s vibrant Malay Quarter known for its colourful houses, cobbled streets, and rich cultural history.

In the afternoon, embark on a Half-Day Robben Island Tour (weather permitting) — the poignant World Heritage Site where Nelson Mandela spent 18 years of his imprisonment.

Return to the hotel for an evening at leisure — perhaps dine at one of Cape Town’s award-winning restaurants.

Day 4: De Kelders

Day 4 – Journey to Hermanus & Grootbos Nature Reserve

After breakfast, depart on a private transfer to Hermanus (approximately 2 hours), renowned as one of the world’s best whale-watching destinations (June–December). En route, stop at Betty’s Bay to visit a charming penguin colony nestled among rocky shores.

Upon arrival at Grootbos Private Nature Reserve, enjoy lunch at the lodge followed by an afternoon of exploration. Choose from a range of inclusive activities such as a 4x4 Flower Safari, beach excursions, or guided nature walks through the fynbos-clad hills.

Day 5: De Kelders

Day 5 – Nature Immersion at Grootbos

Wake up to the sounds of nature and enjoy a full day of activities within the reserve. Options include:

  • Horseback riding through wildflower-covered dunes (weight and age limits apply)

  • Guided fynbos and Milkwood forest walks

  • Marine and coastal excursions, including the Walker Bay Nature Reserve and Klipgat Cave

  • Seasonal land-based whale watching (June–December)

  • Birdwatching and self-guided walks

Return to the lodge for a tranquil evening.

Day 6: Franschhoek

Day 6 – Cape Winelands: Elegance & Epicurean Delights

After breakfast, depart for the Cape Winelands with your private guide.
Travel through scenic mountain passes to Waterford Estate in the Stellenbosch Valley, where you’ll indulge in a wine and chocolate pairing experience crafted by winemaker Kevin Arnold and chocolatier Richard von Geusau.

Continue to the charming town of Franschhoek, the culinary heart of South Africa, and check in to the luxurious Leeu Estates, set among vineyards and art-filled gardens.

Dinner is at leisure.

Day 7: Franschhoek

Day 8: Matetsi Private Game Reserve

Day 8 – Fly to Victoria Falls

After breakfast, transfer to Cape Town International Airport for your scheduled flight to Victoria Falls (flight not included).
On arrival, enjoy a warm meet and greet followed by a transfer to the luxurious Matetsi Victoria Falls, where nature and refinement blend seamlessly.

In the late afternoon, embark on a Sunset Zambezi River Cruise, soaking in the golden hues of the African sunset.

Days 10 - 11: Makgadikgadi Salt Pans

Day 10 – Into the Makgadikgadi: The Timeless Beauty of Jack’s Camp

After breakfast, transfer to Kasane Airport for your chartered flight to the Makgadikgadi Pans, one of Africa’s most otherworldly landscapes.
Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed at the iconic Jack’s Camp, a legendary oasis of 1940s safari style where adventure meets refined elegance.

Settle into your opulent tented suite, complete with Persian rugs, rich textiles, and sweeping desert views, before enjoying a delicious lunch served under the shade of palm trees.

Spend the afternoon unwinding beside the pool or exploring the fascinating camp museum, which houses a remarkable collection of natural history artifacts gathered by generations of explorers.

As the heat of the day subsides, gather for high tea in the Persian tea tent before setting out for your first afternoon adventure.

Return to camp for a welcome dinner beneath a canopy of stars, surrounded by the timeless stillness of the Kalahari.

Day 11 – Desert Adventures & Meerkat Encounters

Awaken before dawn and join your guide for one of Africa’s most enchanting experiences — a guided walk with habituated meerkats as they emerge from their burrows to greet the rising sun. Watch these curious creatures up close as they forage, play, and stand guard against the wide desert sky.

Return to camp for a hearty breakfast and some time to relax in the tranquil surroundings. After a leisurely lunch and afternoon tea, set off once again to explore the Makgadikgadi. Depending on the season, activities may include a quad bike ride across the salt pans, a nature walk with Bushman guides, or a wildlife drive in search of desert-adapted species.

As evening falls, enjoy a sumptuous dinner at camp, sharing stories of the day’s discoveries around the fire.

Day 12: Okavango Delta

Day 12 – From Salt Pans to the Delta: Journey to Baines’ Camp

After breakfast, bid farewell to the mystical Makgadikgadi and board your chartered flight to the Okavango Delta, one of Africa’s most extraordinary ecosystems.

You’ll arrive at Baines’ Camp, an exclusive Sanctuary Retreats property set on the edge of the permanent waterways of the Delta. With only a handful of elegant suites, this intimate lodge offers a true sense of tranquility and connection with nature.

Enjoy a welcome lunch as you take in panoramic views of the surrounding wilderness — a tapestry of shimmering lagoons, papyrus reeds, and acacia woodlands.

In the late afternoon, head out on your first Delta safari experience. Depending on water levels, you may glide silently along the channels in a traditional mokoro canoe, or embark on a game drive to spot elephants, leopards, and red lechwe antelope.

As the sun sinks over the floodplains, enjoy sundowners in the bush before returning to camp for a gourmet dinner under the stars.

Day 13: Okavango Delta

Day 13 – Delta Discovery: Safari by Land and Water

Wake to the gentle chorus of birdlife and the promise of a new day in the Delta. After breakfast, set out with your expert guide for a morning safari, where the drama of the Okavango unfolds — hippos wallow in the waterways, giraffes move gracefully through the trees, and predators stalk the open plains.

Return to camp for a relaxed lunch and perhaps a swim or an indulgent nap before afternoon tea.

In the late afternoon, enjoy another game-viewing activity — explore by 4x4 vehicle, motorboat, or mokoro depending on the season. Each outing offers a different perspective of this ever-changing wilderness.

After a day filled with incredible sightings, return to camp for cocktails by the fire and a three-course dinner accompanied by the sounds of the African night.

Day 14: Okavango Delta

Day 14 – Serenity in the Okavango

Enjoy a leisurely morning to fully embrace the peace and beauty of your surroundings. Opt for a guided bush walk to learn about the smaller wonders of the Delta — the tracks, insects, and medicinal plants that sustain this rich ecosystem.

Alternatively, relax at camp, indulge in a private in-suite bubble bath under the stars, or simply listen to the calls of fish eagles echoing across the waterways.

Later, head out for your final afternoon safari, celebrating your journey with one last sundowner as the skies blaze with colour over the Delta.

Return to camp for a farewell dinner, where your hosts share stories and laughter in true African spirit.

Day 15: End of Itinerary

Day 15 – Farewell Africa

Rise early for a final morning game drive, soaking up the sights and sounds of the bush one last time.
After breakfast, you’ll transfer to the airstrip for your charter flight to Maun Airport, connecting to your scheduled flight to Johannesburg for your onward journey home.

As you depart, carry with you the unforgettable memories of your Southern African adventure — from the rugged coastlines of the Cape to the shimmering silence of the Kalahari and the pristine waters of the Okavango Delta.
