LWC 2026 - Addo Elephant Lodge Tour (4 Star)

You are collected from Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) Airport / your hotel in town for a road transfer of around two hours to the Barefoot Addo Elephant Lodge. Lunch is for your own expense. 

Settle in and relax until the afternoon when there is a guided bird and botany walk before sundowners in the lounge area around the waterhole. Dinner is taken in the lodge restaurant. 

Accommodation: Barefoot Addo Elephant Lodge 

An early start and  there is an hours road transfer to the Addo Elephant National Park main camp  where you take breakfast and then depart on an open vehicle with an accredited guide for a three drive through the park. After the drive a road transfer back to the lodge where lunch is taken for your own expense. 

 In the afternoon there is another open vehicle game drive in the 1000 hectare lodge reserve  with experienced rangers offering unique insights into the flora and fauna of the area. Excellent sightings, of amongst others, eland, waterbuck, blesbuck, wildebeest, giraffe and zebra can be enjoyed across the reserve’s biomes which are made up of fynbos, sub topical thicket and forest.

The order of activities at the reserve could change. 

On your return from the game drive time to freshen up before dinner is taken in the restaurant.

Breakfast is included and then a unique one and a half hour elephant interaction program which includes a walk with the three reserve elephants, Thaba, Mukwa and Duma in their natural environment among
the trees and grassland. The trained handlers will share their specialized knowledge on the elephants and the interaction ends with guests being able to reward the elephants with their favourite treats.

After the elephant interaction check out and you are transferred back to Port Elizabeth Airport where tour services end.
