Fly-In Safari - 12 Days Makgadikgadi Salt Pans, Okavango Delta and Chobe National Park

Welcome to Botswana! On arrival in Maun, you are met & greeted by Desert & Delta Safaris' representative who will escort you to your connecting charter-flight to your first safari destination in the western outskirts of Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. The scenery on safari changes to the dry and vastness within the park, where hundreds of wild animals gather in the dry season.  Makgadikgadi offers the wildlife spectacle of the largest zebra migration in the world roaming from the pans to Boteti River. 

Today you head into the bush. Arrive after a scenic flight into Botswana's most beautiful remote wilderness.  Settle in at the lodge, enjoy a light lunch and feel warmly welcomed before heading out for your first safari experience.  Enjoy the proximity to nature and the most romantic starry sky after sunset.

Your journey continues into the ancient riverine forests of the Khwai, home to exceptional flora and fauna. Your bush camp is one of the few that offers year-round game viewing on land and water in open four-wheel drive safari vehicles or motorboats.

The final highlight of your safari journey is world-renowned Chobe National Park, most spectacular for its large herds of elephants and buffalo, gathering along the Chobe.  Feel spoilt with a romantic champagne-breakfast while cruising the river and soaking in serene nature and an abundance of wildlife. 

After a hearty breakfast, you continue your journey to Zimbabwe! You will be picked up by a transfer service and drive towards the famous Victoria Falls. Once you arrive in the small town and your accommodation, freshen up before setting off on further activities. You will spend the next few days exploring the spectacular waterfalls and the town of Victoria Falls in depth! All activities include return transfers from your hotel.

Transfer to the airport and and check-in for your flight back home.
