On arrival the group will be met and transferred to stay for seven nights on a bed and breakfast basis at the Stamford Plaza Brisbane.



This afternoon Graham Gooch will host the group on a private boat trip along the Brisbane River. As the boat glides majestically along the waters offering excellent views of the city, drinks & snacks will be served, with the opportunity for everybody to become acquainted with their fellow travellers.

The group will be transferred the short distance to the iconic Brisbane Cricket Ground, known locally as The Gabba, for each day’s play. The group will be hosted by Graham Gooch in Platinum category seats – in the upper level of the Southern or Northern stand, behind the bowlers arm to slips.
After the day’s play ends the group will be transferred back to the hotel.

After breakfast the group will be transferred to Brisbane airport for the domestic flight to Adelaide.
On arrival the group will travel into the Barossa Valley to stay for two nights on a bed and breakfast basis at the Novotel Barossa Valley Resort.



This morning the group will travel over the Jacobs Creek along the Barossa Way to enjoy an exclusive wine tasting at Peter Lehmann Wines of some of the wine styles for which the area is famed - Riesling, Semillon and Shiraz. There will then be the opportunity to stop for a stroll in the German town of Tanunda before taking the picturesque journey up to Menglers Hill for an unsurpassed view over the entire Valley.
After lunch at a local restaurant, travel to Yalumba, the oldest family-run winery in Australia, to sample some of the sparkling & white wines for which they are renowned, before finishing the day sampling the fine foods at Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop.



Jacobs Creek Region Tour
The McLaren Vale region is the focus today. After breakfast travel via the historic German village of Hahndorf and the picturesque town of Clarendon to the Coriole Vineyards for an exclusive wine-tasting. The tastings are conducted in the Cellar Door, a beautiful little ironstone cellar surrounded by magnificent views and gardens. The estate produces an outstanding range of wines, olives, olive oils and cheeses with some exceptional wines unique to their winery.
Lunch will be enjoyed at d’Arenberg Winery, a 4th generation family-run estate. The afternoon stop will be at one of the premium wine producers in the area, the rustic Wirra Wirra Vineyards, where a tour of the state-of-the-art winery will be followed by a wine tasting.
Continue onwards into the city of Adelaide to stay for seven nights on a bed and breakfast basis at the Stamford Plaza Adelaide.

McLaren Vale Region Tour
This morning the group will enjoy a guided city of the sights of Adelaide, one of the best-planned cities in the world, proud of its relaxed lifestyle, colonial heritage and reputation as the arts capital of Australia.
Amongst the highlights will be a visit to the city’s heart with its distinctive squares, terraces, parks and gardens, and seeing the diverse residential architecture of North Adelaide with its bluestone mansions and row cottages. Enjoy a stroll through the Central Market, rich in atmosphere and fresh produce, and also experience Tandanya, Australia’s National Aboriginal Cultural Institute.



Adelaide City Tour
The group will be transferred the short distance to the Adelaide Oval for each day’s play. The group will be hosted by Graham Gooch in Platinum category seats – at the front of the upper level of the Riverbank Stand, behind the bowlers arm to slips.
After the day’s play ends the group will be transferred back to the hotel.

On one of the days Graham Gooch will host an informal Question & Answer session with other cricketing legends in the hotel’s Executive Lounge to discuss the state of play during the 2nd Test.
