The island is privately owned but snorkeling around the island is unlimited, while snorkeling, we easily spot groups of humpback dolphins, triggerfish, surgeonfish, butterflyfish, zebrafish, and countless other species of fish and if you are lucky you can spot turtles. After snorkeling, we visit at Muyuni Beach for relaxing and refreshments before heading north to Baraka Aquarium on Nungwi Beach – a natural lagoon full of sea turtles, which buys the turtles caught by fishermen, and releases them into the fresh ocean water in the lagoon.
