Guango Lodge 2D

Guango Lodge: You will leave Quito at 8:00 A.M, and you will pass through the amazing and scenic cloudforest. The first stop will be at a rose plantation where you will have the oportunity to admire the most popular and spectacular varieties that Ecuador produces. After this the trip will continue to the paramo zone at Papallacta, where you will admire the various volcanoes and breathtaking landscapes that surround this ecosystem. You will also take a dip at this relaxing hotsprings. Then you will continue your trip to the lodge, and arrive in time for a delicious lunch. In the afternoon you will embark on a hike along the trails around the lodge and observe mountain toucans and tanagers. Before dinner you will have a delicious traditional drink called "Canelazo".

Return to Quito: After a buffet style breakfast, you will head to the nearby river to try at trout fishing. You will enjoy a fresh fished trout for lunch. Then you will have a last visit to the hummingbirds feeders, or to the orchid garden nearby. Then, you will check out from the lodge and get on bus for your trip back to Quito. Depending on weather and time you may also visit a Polylepis forest.
