The women are equipped with digging sticks while the men are armed with longbows with poison-tipped arrows and homemade axes used to excavate honey hives. If successful while foraging or hunting, you will be offered to share their caught meal, wild honey, a small antelope, a Francolin, berries, or baobab fruit.

At night we eat our meals and share stories of our African adventures around a campfire. A back-to-basics camp does not mean a lack of comfort. A few touches of luxury are essential; soft duvets and down pillows, generous and wholesome dining and a serving of cold beer or a glass of wine. A fly-camp experience will take you deep into the wilderness for the night. We conduct most of our activities on foot, allowing us to experience the bush intimately rather than as a passing passenger.
